Make a difference in our community
Perhaps most important of all, as an Exploration Place member, you’re supporting STEM education throughout the whole community. With the support of our members, in 2021-22 we were able to do things such as provide free field trips to 3,836 students from 39 different Title 1 schools in USD 259, provide 200 free needs-based scholarships to summer camp, taught science to 1,675 students in the USD 259 Newcomers program (for whom English is a second language) and provide free passes to be checked out from nine local libraries.
