“You’re off to Great Places!
Today is your day!
Your mountain is waiting,
So… get on your way!” – Dr. Suess

Graduation is an exciting time as it exemplifies endings and new beginnings, so of course you want to get the perfect gift for the new graduate in your life! Below are some of the best gift ideas rounded up straight from moms themselves. Let us know if we missed anything!

Mini Fridge: All graduates can benefit from a mini fridge, perfect for those late night study snacks or to-go breakfast burritos. We suggest to make sure their roommate isn’t already providing one.

Insulated Water Bottle: We love the Hydroflask as it lives up to the cost and the hype! They keep beverages cold for up to 24 hours and have a super sleek look and a lot of color options. There are some great knock offs at Walmart and on Amazon, but we hear name brand is important to college students.

Air Pods: Chances are, the graduate likely owns Air Pods already, but just in case he/she doesn’t, they are perfect for walking to class. A bit more on the pricey side of gift-giving but a fantastic gift idea!

Mani/Pedi: Service gifts are a great option for new graduates as they likely won’t have the funds to purchase “luxury services” once they head to college.

Air Diffuser: An air diffuser is a great gift idea. They are a unique, inexpensive way to make a room smell happy, and these little diffusers are under $19 and come in a variety of colors (one changes colors which is perfect for a college dorm room)!

Vornado: All dorm rooms need a fan, and these mini class white vintage fans from Vornado are such great quality and have a trendy yet classic vibe to them. We think this should be a go-to for graduate gifts!

New College Swag: A great way to support school pride and get the new graduate excited about his or her new “gig” away from home is school swag. Anything from hats to sweatshirts to water bottles – all a thoughtful way to get the graduate into new school spirit.

Yeti: All college students need an insulated coffee mug, right? And a Yeti is going to do the job of keeping that beverage nice and warm all the way to and from class.

Subscription Service: We heard the suggestion from moms of new grads for subscription services as a gift idea, and we think it’s a fantastic idea! Something like Quick Stitch or Dollar Shave Club where the new grad doesn’t have to think about picking up new razors or clothes.

Money: At the end of the day, no college grad is going to be disappointed in the gift of cash. They’re going to need it for their newest ventures!
