Come together with families all over Wichita to sleep out in solidarity with our homeless neighbors.
On Saturday, April 17, HumanKind invites you to give up your bed for one night to raise compassion, awareness, and funds to support homeless services right here in our city. Pitch a tent in your backyard, build a fort in your living room, sleep anywhere!
Sleep Out ICT is designed for families who want to support the homeless population, teach their kids compassion and kindness, and have conversations with their children about important social issues. Join us from your own home as we create a fun, safe space to start these conversations—we’ll provide conversation guides, fun family activities, and more.
All participants will receive a HumanKind T-shirt, and family tickets also include an Event Box to make your night even more fun and informative. Event boxes include activities from Great Plains Nature Center and Exploration Place, plus some surprises from HumanKind! We also have a great, brief virtual program lined up to kick off your Sleep Out (or in!) that you won’t want to miss.
Register today for Sleep Out ICT and be a part of something truly special—turning your compassion into action and supporting homeless services.
