  31. I would love to take my new husband! I am a Covid bride and our dream wedding and honeymoon were both cancelled. We were still married on our original date, May 23, 2020 through a zoom meeting.
    This would be the perfect getaway for us to experience and actually be able to get to have some kind of honeymoon after all of the heart break we went though during Covid.
    A brides dreams of the perfect wedding, only be torn from them due to a pandemic caused months of stress and depression. This would be the perfect relaxation getaway.

My anniversary is coming up and this would be ideal to surprise my husband with since we were going to go out of town but obviously that is canceled. I recently broke my weist in 5 places and hehas neen the best caregiver I could ask for. He has helped me change clothes, combed my hair, and been the kids playmate sfter a full day of work. He deserves to be pampered and I would love to show him my true appreciation for being my best friend and shoulder to cry on. He is not the stadard sensitive man, but a bearded weightlifting Harley Riding blue collar man that desrves to be recognized for his sweet side too.

We took care of the boys for spring break and instead of returning to school we homeschooled our grandsons. One with special needs. We had a small break for a month while the boys attended latchkey. Don’t get me wrong I live my grandchildren and would do it again But….Take me away Calvin!!

  95. Honestly, I would probably take my husband because, while we’ve been giving each other chances to get away for a few hours during the pandemic, we haven’t had much time without or kids together over the past several months. It would be nice to have a relaxing weekend we could both enjoy!

They are both graduate students who have adjusted to all things COVID with maturity and grace, but certainly there have been unexpected setbacks both financially and personally.
