  1. I would take my husband with me as a baby moon! We are due in December and have not made “us” a priority in a LONG time. Getting away is harder lately, but this seems like it would be perfect for us!

  2. Wow – looks amazing, never even knew of this place! I would love to pamper a friend with this getaway. I wish everyone could win; we all certainly need it in these crazy times! 🙂

  3. I would take my mom. She’s recently been diagnosed with several medical issues and always gives so much to her family. I would love for her to be able to enjoy a weekend like this.

  4. I would take my daughter. She was cheated out of her senior year, her Costa Rica trip, and the college she wanted to go to. I want her to get a chance to truly relax before she goes out in to the adult world. A mother daughter trip would be perfect!!!

    • I would take my friend Janel. She has not had a girls away trip in over 6 years. What a beautiful place. Looks so relaxing.

  5. I would take my friends, either Paige Brown or Misty Rezac. The three of us Moms, of 3 and 4 kids, have all recently fought cancer and would really enjoy this weekend retreat. Thanks!

  6. I’d take my hubby! We haven’t had an alone getaway since our kiddo was born almost 5 years ago 😬🤦🏼‍♀️

  7. I would take my mom! She retired at the start of the pandemic so all the things she wanted to do, has been postponed.

  8. I would like to tell my good friend Lura Jo who sis a principal. Leading teachers and staff during reentry into school during a pandemic is very stressful!

  9. I would definitely take my friend, Blanca. We’re expanding our business and she has spent countless late nights helping me get up and running and or watching my kiddos for me while I was over there getting things done. Also, her birthday is the 15th and mine is the 17th of August… sounds like a great birthday treat 🤪

  10. I would love to take my new husband! I am a Covid bride and our dream wedding and honeymoon were both cancelled. We were still married on our original date, May 23, 2020 through a zoom meeting.
This would be the perfect getaway for us to experience and actually be able to get to have some kind of honeymoon after all of the heart break we went though during Covid.
A brides dreams of the perfect wedding, only be torn from them due to a pandemic caused months of stress and depression. This would be the perfect relaxation getaway.

  11. I had never heard of this resort! How cool! Would love to take my friend and have a nice relaxing weekend away from all the stress!

  12. I have The Elms in my travel list! I’d love to take my best friend Clancy, she’s a teacher and we’d have a grand time!

  13. I would actually take my mom!! She’s been through a lot with losing her mom, then going through a divorce, then losing her only son to Lupus back in 2017! She’s the best mom, and an even better “Gramma” to my two daughters. ❤️

  14. I would take my mom! A “moms” getaway would be amazing… she keeps the family together, while I’m working at home with my two littles as well!

  15. I would love to bring my fiancé if I win the spa giveaway! He works very hard to provide for our family everyday and he deserves a day to relax!

  16. I would take my mom who has, as an adult, become my friend. I never imagined how much work raising kids was until I had my own. What a wonderful way to thank her!❤️

  17. If my bestie from TX could come that’s who I would bring. She’s a widow and momma to three and a kindergarten teacher. I’m a mom of three and a special education teacher. We could both definitely use this!!!

  18. Stayed at the elms 20 plus years ago with my husband and we really enjoyed it💚. Would love to return with a dear friend to see all the improvements. My husband recently passed but the memories are still there💚

  19. When I saw this picture I couldn’t even believe this was in Wichita! This is place is absolutely stunning. My anniversary is coming up and this would be ideal to surprise my husband with since we were going to go out of town but obviously that is canceled. Would definitely enjoy a break since we both of been working since day one of the pandemic!

  20. I would take my best friend my husband. We married in 2012. We have never had a honeymoon or trip away without our 4 kids. I recently broke my weist in 5 places and hehas neen the best caregiver I could ask for. He has helped me change clothes, combed my hair, and been the kids playmate sfter a full day of work. He deserves to be pampered and I would love to show him my true appreciation for being my best friend and shoulder to cry on. He is not the stadard sensitive man, but a bearded weightlifting Harley Riding blue collar man that desrves to be recognized for his sweet side too.

  21. My spirit guides are telling me I belong here 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Thank you for partnering up for such a great opportunity!

  22. I would take my mom! I recently had a baby and she’s been an amazing support during the day when my husband is at work, and even during some of those early morning hours! We could all use some extra zzz’s and a good massage!

  23. I would take my husband, we just celebrated 10 years of marriage but because of “rona” we were left with a different way to celebrate.

  24. I would pick my husband to come with me! We have both been essential workers and have been working through this COVID pandemic. We have 4 kids that also keep us very busy. 27. I was incredibly privileged to be able to go here a couple summers ago with my husband. It was an amazing experience and I would love to be able to do it again!

  28. I would take my mom. She absolutely deserves this getaway! She has been taking care of the entire family due to my grandpa being sick with COVID and everyone else needing to quarantine because of such.

  29. Looks like a dream! My husband. He narrowly escaped 2 layoffs. We have tons of medical bills from a sick child. We’ve lost 3 loved ones this year and could use the luxury and serenity of this!

  30. I would take my daughter for a fabulous girls only trip! I’ve been wanting to stay here and experience all they have to offer for a couple of years now!!!

  31. My husband and I have been looking at going to the Elms for so long but something has always us prevented us from going. We definitely need a break from taking care of our 8 month old and working full time!

  32. I would take my husband Ted. He retired in February and we hoped we would get to travel. We took care of the boys for spring break and instead of returning to school we homeschooled our grandsons. One with special needs. We had a small break for a month while the boys attended latchkey. Now we are reviewing for return to school. We also have our 5 year old granddaughter who needs a lot of work. Don’t get me wrong I live my grandchildren and would do it again But….Take me away Calvin!!

  33. Honestly, I would probably take my husband because, while we’ve been giving each other chances to get away for a few hours during the pandemic, we haven’t had much time without or kids together over the past several months. It would be nice to have a relaxing weekend we could both enjoy!

  34. I would take my husband. We have been married for 19 years and between work and our kids we never seem to find the time for just the two of us. This would be the perfect get away.

  43. I would take my husband. He’s the hardest working person I know. He is a firefighter & a nurse practitioner. He works a 100+ hours a week. He deserves this more than anyone I know.

  44. I would gift this to my daughter and her fiancé. They will be getting married in October and will likely have many changes related to their dream wedding and a cancelled honeymoon to Hawaii. They are both graduate students who have adjusted to all things COVID with maturity and grace, but certainly there have been unexpected setbacks both financially and personally. I would love to treat them to a honeymoon that will treat them to the blessings they deserve.

  45. How gracious!! I would be taking my best friend of 20+ years! We’ve been through rough times and still hanging on. A good relaxation with her would be great!!

  60. Wow, what a beautiful place! I would take my husband! We have both been working extremely hard and this new school year has been so emotionally exhausting for me. This teacher needs a vacay!

  61. I would love to take my daughter Sarah . She’s always doing things for me. And works long hours and has three kids and could truly deserve a weekend away.

  62. Would be amazing! Would grab up my mom friend and take a break! This year has been one heck of a roller coaster, and both of us could use some quality time together. Self care at its best!!

      THANK YOU FOR THE OPPORTUNITY!
