It is the vision of Make-A-Wish to grant the wish of every eligible child who qualifies for a wish. A wish experience can give back to wish children what a critical illness can take away: the magic and innocence of childhood.

Each year it is estimated that 600 children are newly diagnosed with a critical illness and qualify for a wish from our local Make-A-Wish chapter. Last year Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas granted 438 unique wishes. 92 of which were to children living in our great state of Kansas. Right now there are over 150 children throughout Kansas who are waiting for their wish to be granted.

Research shows that a wish can replace fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. A wish comes true provides a child with hope, strength and joy.

By supporting this event, you can provide hope and happiness to children facing overwhelming challenges.

Make-A-Wish® Missouri & Kansas creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We are on a quest to bring every eligible child’s wish to life, because a wish is an integral part of a child’s treatment journey. Research shows children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness. Headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, Make-A-Wish is the world’s leading children’s wish-granting organization, serving children in every community in the United States and in 50 countries worldwide. The local chapter is headquartered in Ballwin, Missouri and serves all counties in Missouri and Kansas.
