Angela is the founder of Wichita Mom, the premier parenting website and community for local moms. Wife to her high school bestie, mom to two girls, and native Wichitan, she is thrilled to be raising her family in her hometown after telling her family for years she "would never move back". She is a strong advocate for mental health, believes in the power of community, and walks the talk of "babes supporting babes". She also works as a private marketing consultant in Wichita KS, helping businesses and non-profits navigate the ever-changing waters of digital & local marketing. A mother of 2, happily married to her college sweetheart, Erin's hobbies include bribing herself to exercise, traveling with (and without) her family, and trying to remember where she hid the chocolate. Ginny Ellis is a hometown girl who happily resides in East Wichita with her husband, two young sons, two rowdy dogs, one spoiled tortoise, and a TBR pile she fears she'll never finish. After many years in various business roles (including a few as WM's Events Director), Ginny went back to school for a graduate degree and now teaches Social Studies in USD 259. She holds volunteer positions in Junior League of Wichita, on her neighborhood elementary school's PTO Board, and works as an election worker. She can be found blasting podcasts while driving her boys to swim team, dance rehearsal, and hunting Pokémon. Meaghan wears many hats throughout the day: wife to husband of twelve years, Jeremy, mom to two incredible children, Jacob and Aliza, legal assistant, foster parent, and surrogate. A Wichita native, she met her husband at K-State (Go State!) and they moved from coast (Los Angeles, CA) to coast (Manchester, NH and Groton, CT) before settling back down in Kansas. Amy is a lifelong Wichita-area resident, with the exception of her college and grad school years. Amy has worked as a pediatric physical therapist for a local non-profit organization during her 18 year career. She married Brett, a youth pastor turned special education teacher and coach, and can be seen supporting Andover Middle School with her two boys, aged 7 & 6, only 18 months apart! Kim is a Wichita transplant who never planned to stay, but 15 years later she’s convinced Wichita is the perfect place to raise a family. She’s a wife to Jorge and a mama to toddlers Nico and Lucia. She moved here from the Chicago suburbs and works part-time in the communications world. The rest of her time is focused on seeking out adventures with her little family. She also loves browsing grocery store aisles, reading cookbooks, iced coffee and wine. Kim’s trying to learn Spanish as well, her toddlers are bilingual and already speak better than she does! Sally is a native Wichitan and the mother of Caroline (September 2012) and Harrison (January 2015). She lives on the east side of Wichita with her hubby of six years, Matt. After teaching first grade for six years, she left the classroom to work from home. She now owns Sally Cavanaugh Photography, specializing in newborns, babies, children and families. Passionate about capturing those precious, simple, fleeting moments in life, Sally truly loves her job. Sally is also a trunk keeper for Matilda Jane Clothing, an unpredictable clothing company known for their darling girls clothing. When she’s not behind the camera or styling little ones, Sally enjoys being surrounded by family. Adrienne is a mother to two amazing kiddos, an avid photographer and Child Start's Communications and Event guru. She finds passion in the beauty of life; the good, bad and ugly...and has a bleeding heart for those who are less fortunate.

Ashley grew up in Augusta and has lived in the Wichita area for most of her life. She works full time as vice president at a marketing agency. She'd been in the workforce for 15 years and faced years of fertility challenges before being blessed with son Charlie in 2015. She met her husband, Josh, in kindergarten. The house-divided college sweethearts attended KU and K-State, starting their careers in Dallas before returning to Wichita in 2003. Not just a full-time executive and mom, she owns Josh Cook Golf Academy with her namesake husband. Born and raised in Wichita, Chelsi married her high school sweetheart Britt in 2012 and they now call northwest Wichita home. Brody (b. 2013) and Brexley (b. 2016) and two dogs (Paisley and Mater) keep Chelsi busy as a SAHM. When the family is not playing with tractors and having dance parties in the living room, you can usually find them at their family farm in Clearwater or having a family movie night at home. Chelsi is a coffee and ice cream cake loving, Christmas obsessed list maker that has a passion for writing and designing custom invitations on her Etsy shop. Christa currently resides on the southeast side of Wichita and is married to her best friend of 3 years, Clarence. She is the mom of two little girls, Tehilah and Atarah. She grew up in Wichita and has only left to travel! She recently left her job at USD 259 to become a stay at home mom and is loving every minute. Courtney and her husband Keith live in Derby with their wild ones Keira and Cedric. Born and raised in South Dakota, Courtney moved to the Wichita area in 2013 to follow her husband’s career as a lineman. After working in retail management for 12 years, she switched gears to stay at home with the kiddos and is also a Stylist with Stella & Dot to escape the kids now and then. To keep sane, Courtney likes to read, obsess over makeup and fashion, embarrass her kids, and eat chips and queso. Denise is a chiropractor and speaker, wife to Ryan, and mama to Eli (b. 2009), Hadley (b. 2012), and three-going-on-thirteen youngest daughter Lucy (b. 2015). She moved to Wichita with her husband in 2007 after living in West Michigan and Dallas, Texas, but Wichita became her home from the start. With a Bachelors in Marketing and Doctorate of Chiropractic, she co-owns a practice with her husband in East Wichita where they find joy in serving others through our community. In her spare time, Denise loves to record her podcast which empowers others in vocabulary and etiquette of communication. Denise enjoys being involved in her church when possible, is passionate about healthy food and exercise, and appreciates listening to a good podcast while doing chores. After moving to Wichita from New Jersey in first grade, Desi became a hometown girl, attending a small town school just north of Wichita. Desi played collegiate sports while attending college and obtained a degree in Biology, Chemistry and Communications. She is a working mom and enjoys a career in pharmaceutical sales. Her family enjoys music of all kinds and works hard putting on a local music festival. She happily resides in Wichita with husband, Ross and their two sweet little girls, Adeline (b. 2012) and Annie (b. 2015). She loves grocery shopping and looks forward to cooking when time permits within her busy schedule, but nothing beats dining out with a smooth glass of red or a delicious Moscow Mule (she's done "research" and has found the best in Wichita)! Read Desi's posts here.

Eliana lives in Andover with her wife and their triplets. Originally from Argentina, she is happy to raise her kids experiencing different cultures from the places the family has lived in: Buenos Aires City, the suburbs, Costa Rica, Arkansas and ICT area since last summer. So here she is, trying to keep it all together at home while working part-time as an IT Consultant, volunteering in her kid’s school, and cheering at recitals, races, and games. Erica hails from the city of movers and shakers and is very proud to call Wichita her birthplace and home. As a former Dallas Texas resident, she made the decision to move back to Kansas to rediscover herself and map out a path to help reach her goals. She is a mother of two amazing daughters Briana (16) and Janiyah (12). Outside of her corporate career in healthcare where she has remained for 10 years, Erica is now the Founder and “Fragrance Whisperer” of Room Esscentials, a home fragrance brand locally handcrafted in the ICT.

Born & raised on a cattle farm just west of Salina, Erin has grown to love the city life that Wichita has to offer. She & her husband, Nathan, are raising their family on the east side: Blakely (Dec 2013), Rowen (Apr 2015), & Lincoln (Jun 2017). Erin formerly taught elementary for 6 years. When the chaos of 2 under 2 happened so quickly (oops!), she decided to leave teaching for now and work from home as the premier photographer of Erin Kata Photography. When the calendar allows breaks from the multitude of children's activities, photo sessions, editing & teaching workshops, you will more than likely find Erin & the fam somewhere outdoors: dancing in the rain, playing in sunshine, and even tromping through the snow! After moving to Kansas from Wyoming shortly before Kindergarten, Hali was raised a "country girl" in a small town south of Wichita. She graduated high school and attended the University of Kansas before deciding that cosmetology and the beauty industry was her passion. A licensed hairstylist for (almost) ten years and salon owner for six, she loves creative freedom and the ability to form her work schedule around the needs of her children. Hali now calls El Dorado home and resides there happily with her son Riley (b.2009), her daughter Heidi (b. 2015). When her schedule isn't packed with youth sports, or working behind the chair in her salon, she enjoys time with friends at any patio restaurant or a good girls day out exploring new local shops. Jamie lives outside of Eureka on a cattle ranch with her favorites...husband, Diltz, and their three kiddos, Sydney (8), Henry (6) and Charlie (4). Works at Krehbiel Architecture in Wichita and spends quite a bit of time in her hometown working, playing, and volunteering. Jenna is a Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse and the owner of the infant sleep consulting company, 4 The Love of Sleep. Born and raised in Wichita, Jenna is married to her workout lovin’ husband, Dominic of 10 years and the Mama to two girls, Aynslee and Arbor. Born and raised in Wichita, full of Shocker pride, Jenna is a boy mom to son's Aiden and Eli. She married her college sweetheart, Danny, and the two keep an active schedule that includes chasing their children and dogs around Northeast Wichita. Jenna is an executive for a local HR Outsourcing organization and a member of the Junior League of Wichita. She likes to spend her spare time helping others or volunteering around the community. Jenna is a Kansas girl who married a Frenchman and lived her personal fairytale in Bordeaux, France for five years. In 2013, they moved back to raise their four children in Newton, where her husband is a firefighter. Jenna brought back a love of the French language, culture, cuisine and cheese. She never thought she would fall equally in love with Kansas and the Wichita area, where she feels so supported as a woman and mom. A homeschool grad, she now homeschools, while serving on the board of the Newton Homeschool Fellowship. Kendra lives in Derby with her husband Leonard and her two boys- Leo and Jacoby. She works in downtown Wichita but spends most of the rest of her waking hours wrangling two crazy boys. You will more than likely find them at a game or practice. Besides spending time with her family Kendra loves to read and watch Game of Thrones, HGTV marathons and the Royals! Laura grew up in Mulvane, and aside from the grad school years, she has lived in the Wichita-area her entire life. After an initial career as a high school English teacher, she now works full-time as a lawyer. Laura met her husband in high school and the two navigated years of infertility before welcoming their son in 2020. The family are avid Kansas State Wildcat supporters and can often be found supporting the local foodie scene in their purple and white. Laura is also an avid reader, baker, and Disney enthusiast.

Laura is a born and raised Wichitan, a KU grad (rock chalk!) and a wife to her high school sweetheart. She is a momma to two little girls - Annistyn Grace (August '14) and Ellington Joy (November '16.) Laura works from home in NE Wichita as a wedding coordinator and etsy shop owner and as a family photographer. She enjoys traveling, working out, being outside, and anything crafty. Lauren and her husband Dan live in El Dorado with their two boys (born 2011 and 2014). They have added a goldendoodle, a hedgehog and two cats to their family in recent years and are expecting a daughter to join their crew at the end of 2020! She is an elementary school secretary, a member of the Junior League of Wichita and the Tri-County CASA Board of Directors. Lauren spent much of her childhood in Lawrence, Kansas and moved to El Dorado about ten years ago after her husband graduated from pharmacy school. Léah was born and raised in Abu Dhabi in a Lebanese family and grew up speaking three languages: French, English and Arabic. She moved to Australia for college where she met her Wichita-born husband, Paul. After getting married in Lebanon, they had a brief stop in San Francisco before deciding to make Wichita home. Since becoming a mother to a very cheeky and energetic toddler, Levi, Léah has slowly transitioned from full-time community building work with the Greater Wichita Partnership into a more flexible contract role allowing her more time to build castles, blow bubbles, and raise Levi multilingual. Lindsay is a Kansas City gal who moved to Wichita in 2017. She has been married to her husband, Mike, since 2017. Although they attended the same high school they didn’t meet until their mid-20s. Formerly an Early Childhood teacher and curriculum consultant, Lindsay now stays at home with her daughter (July 2020) and is expecting a son (October 2021). She is also a mom to two fur baby Golden Retrievers. Originally from Michigan, Lindsay loves traveling and spending time outdoors. She is excited to navigate life with two under two and a large coffee in her hand!

Liz lives in West Wichita with her husband, Shane, and their two kiddos, Brynn (October '15) and Beckett (December '17). She loves her job as a Kindergarten teacher in the same district she grew up attending as a child herself. When she is not chasing after small children, Liz enjoys her coffee black (bonus points if it's still warm!), her wine red, attending church with her family, long lunches to catch up with her girlfriends, and exploring new restaurants and ice cream spots with her hubby on date nights. Marcella is a Kansas City native who has called Wichita home for the past decade, after moving here to attend the Physician Assistant Program at WSU. Despite being a Shocker, Marcella is really a Wildcat at heart, along with her husband, Mike. They met while both attending Kansas State University and still like to get back for KSU football games, when they aren’t wrangling their two nuggets Brody and Holly. Marcella remains very busy working as a Cardiology PA, mothering two senior beagles plus two human children, while living off coffee and a heaping dose of sarcasm. Read Marcella's articles here.

Maricar (pronounced “Merrah Car”) is moved to Wichita in July 2014 from Virginia Beach. She married her college sweetheart, Chris, in 1996. Together, they have four kids: Will (19), Addison (16), Bekah (14), and Victor (6 months). Maricar and Chris are originally from Augusta, Georgia (the “Home of the Masters”, for any avid golfers out there) and have moved quite a bit while Chris completed residency/fellowship (and an eight year US Navy commitment). Here in Wichita, they are now planting some roots. Maricar is a chemistry teacher at Wichita Collegiate, who spends a lot of time cheering for her Spartans at sporting events. She enjoys a good inspirational book, a freshly brewed cup of coffee, scrapbooking, and dinner date nights. Eating out and going to movies tops the list of things the Harris family likes to do. Megan has lived in Wichita since 1999, graduated in 2003 as an RN, and received her MSN in 2016. She is a survivor of childhood cancer that led to some complicated reproductive issues, including the loss of their son Lincoln (18wks, 2008) and daughter Basil (23wks 2010). With a best friend to spend a lifetime with and a vision of a family David and Megan embarked on two amazing adoption journeys. She lives on the northwest side of town with her partner Wes and their young son, where together they operate their regenerative garlic and vegetable farm, Orie’s Farm Fresh. As a passionate local and organic food advocate, Megan enjoys engaging with the Wichita community on a weekly basis at farmers’ markets and local events. Nicole is mommy to two toddlers: Scarlet and Easton, and wife to Justin. They also have 2 furbaby Labs. She's an Oklahoma girl, born and raised, and has been in Wichita since October 2017. Moving from her home of Norman has been tough, but what a great community to relocate to! Her family loves to get out explore the area, finding fun toddler and family activities! In addition to "mom" and "wife", she is an early intervention speech-language pathologist for a local nonprofit organization. Originally from the Wichita area, Rachel’s greatest adventure began 20 years ago when she married her husband. Together, they have one living child with Asperger’s (Dylan, ‘03) and one heavenly daughter with cerebral palsy (Mia, 2000-2013). She is a homeschool mom and business owner. Wichita native Rebekah is a wife and a mom Norah and twin boys William and Benjamin. You can usually find her playing her way through the day with her kiddos. Or tackling her never-ending pile of laundry with a baby on her hip and good coffee in her hand. She is an imperfect momma trying to find humor through the chaos of life with three littles. After moving to Wichita from the DFW metroplex in 2011, Ricki met her Wichita native husband, fell in love, and the rest is history! Currently residing in Derby, she is a wife to local musician J.Michael , and mom to two handsome busy boys: Reed(4) and Landry (1). She enjoys traveling and has been to Australia and Spain among other places in the US and loves planning new adventures. You can usually find her enjoying outside time at parks with her family & dog, enjoying a nice coffee/brunch, or shopping for good deals.

Samantha is a Kansas girl through and through. Born and raised in a rural community near Topeka, KS, she moved to Wichita in 2002 to attend WSU. Obtaining her graduate degree from the Wichita State School of Social Work, she loves her job as a pediatric medical social worker. Samantha calls East Wichita home with her husband, two beautiful children, and dog. Having lived in Wichita for over a decade she has enjoyed rediscovering Wichita through the eyes of her children.
