Girls try new things and overcome fears while gaining confidence, independence, and making new friends in an environment just for girls – at Girl Scout Camp. You don’t have to already be a Girl Scout to attend camp. It’s where girls get to be explorers, creative thinkers, and build their leadership and friendship skills in new and exciting ways. This summer she’ll have plenty of outdoor adventures, fun learning experiences, and special activities developed specifically for her age. Wichita Collegiate School Summer Explorations

Looking for a place where your child can learn, make lasting friendships, and explore hidden talents? Summer Explorations has over 100 classes spread over 7 weeks for every age, interest, ability, and schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. STEAM Academy emphasizes creativity and innovation, linking art to concepts in science, technology, engineering and math. Students explore mixed media, drawing, painting, and clay projects inspired by weekly themes. Morning sessions are for ages 5-8 and meet from 10 a.m. to noon. Afternoon sessions are for ages 9-12 and meet from 1 – 3 p.m. Each week concludes with guest speakers from the Wichita community and an exhibition of the students’ work for family, friends and visitors to experience. Every week has a unique theme!

Spark your creativity at WAM Camp! Spend a week at the museum exploring the galleries and having fun in the Art Studio making your own works of art. Camp sessions are 9 am to 4 pm Monday-Friday.

Bring your little explorers and discoverers to Sedgwick County Zoo this summer! Your children will journey through the Zoo, learning about animals and digging deeper into the wonders of Nature. Have your kiddos come enjoy the farm life! They will enjoy daily horseback riding, crafts, education, and much much more! Each week has different themes and activities. You can choose half day 9am-Noon or all day 9am-4pm. Book soon, as they fill up quickly! We have hundreds of students and an incredible staff who love teaching our youth. Theater also has a wide range of classes from 1 week camps for preschoolers like Bluey Camp and Gabby’s Dollhouse, camps and performance classes for Ages 6 – Teenagers including Basic Acting, Singing for the Actor, Newsies, High School Musical, Aristocats and Magic Treehouse. Mighty camp is a ridiculously fun summer camp experiences that keeps kids active and moving all summer long! Campers learn valuable leadership skills through sports, STEAM activities, yoga, fun with food, daily swimming, field trips, and so much more. They firmly believe that children learn best through play and strive to keep camp a playful, zany, environment where kids can let go of the need to achieve and grow problem solving skills through EPIC fun! Mighty Camp is designed for children who have completed kindergarten through 6th grade and is located on the east and west side, and able to accept DCF payments.

Set yourself up for a sensational Summer with a step-by-step guided canvas painting on Thursdays and Fridays at 10am for only $10! Open Studio times are available Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 12-5pm. Choose from canvas, wood, and NOW pottery! They offer Art for ALL ages and abilities. Most pieces range from $11-24. Open Studio is not guided but staff is available and excited to help!

Join the Riverside Music Together community for some fun-filled music-making! All are welcome in class: parents, grandparents, nannies, and their littles ages birth to 8! The half day camps are a great way for kids to learn new skills, experience new media, make friends, get a little messy and flex those creative muscles. Music Theatre Wichita is excited to announce its expanded summer camps and workshops for 2023! The first day to enroll in summer camps will be Monday, March 6 at 9:00 am. Offerings include all-day and half-day camps, evening workshops, dance classes with MTWichita company members, and the opportunity to perform onstage as part of the preshow before Disney’s Beauty and the Beast!
