Spring Break Camps are the perfect way to keep kids engaged while school is out. Thankfully, Wichita has plenty to offer to keep all them thoroughly entertained.

Art Park Spring Break Camp
Come have a fun, enriching experience when school is out! At arrival, children will get creative making art and craft projects, participate in a Monart guided drawing, have center time and play outside weather permitting. In the afternoon children will rotate to two different businesses on campus such as Kelcy’s Dance Studio, PE or music. Children will participate in a variety of activities each day, dress in clothes that can get dirty. Children under Kindergarten age MUST register for half day due to KDHE regulations. *ALL STUDENTS: Bring a backpack, lunch, snacks, water bottle, and coat/gloves/hat if cool outside, we go outside in most weather. Please make sure items are labeled with names. Wear tennis shoes & dress for a mess.*
Half Day Option: 9:00-12:30, $30 per person (bring a lunch, we eat lunch at 11:00)
Full Day Option: 9:00-4:00, $45 per person (must be of Kindergarten age or older)
Girl Scouts: Wild Explorers

March 16-19, 2026 Monday: Forest Friends; Tuesday: Ocean Explorers; Wednesday: Desert Detectives; Thursday: Safari Guides; Register for 1 or more individual days for $40 per day, or attend the full session for $150.

Wichita Parks and Rec Camp Kids Konnection
No School? No Problem! Don’t stress about those in-service days. Kids Konnection is a great camp filled with a variety of activities including sports, games, contests, arts and crafts, and special events. This camp is licensed by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) and open to children ages 6 to 12 in a 1:15 staff-to-child ratio setting.
To accommodate the working parent, camp is held from March 16 – March 20 (7 am to 6 pm) at the following recreation centers:

Daily fee is $27 per child and includes a morning and afternoon snack. Kids need to bring their own lunch and drink daily.
YMCA
The Greater Wichita YMCA’s SPRING BREAK CAMP, March 13 and 16-20, is a win for parents who need to keep their schedules and kids who want fun with friends. Exciting adventures and meaningful experiences await. Healthy breakfast/afternoon snack provided (kids must bring lunch daily).

Wichita Riding Academy
WRA offers an incredible Spring Break Camp. You can book all week or individual days! Ages 6 and up – no experience needed.
Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes
Visit the Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes (located in WSU’s Rhatigan Student Center) from March 16-20 for their Spring Break Pizza & Pins Package! For just $50, the package includes 90 minutes of bowling (shoes included), two medium cheese or pepperoni pizzas and beverages for groups up to 6 people! Reservations are suggested but walk-ins accepted. Hours that week are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Call 316-978-3479 to reserve. Open to the public!

Another camp to consider is CityArts has a Spring break camp. CityArts Art Camps are great for children 6-15 who enjoy art and want to explore new mediums! Each day the students will work with a variety of art methods like drawing, painting, sculpture, clay, photography, printmaking and more. Wear clothes that you wouldn’t mind getting messy in, bring snacks, lunch, and a reusable water bottle and be ready to make new friends while learning about the arts. Camp runs from 9:00-4:00 with early drop-off beginning at 8:00 a.m. and late pickup until 5:30 p.m.
