Bradley Fair Summer Concert Fireworks
Thursday, July 2nd | 7:30pm concert (Fireworks begin at 9:30)

Lakeside Picnic-Style Seating
Blankets and lawn chairs may be set up as a picnic spot along the grassy area that surrounds Bradley Fair Lake.
Plaza Seating
Guests will be permitted to set up their chairs at 5:00 PM the day of the concert.

Wichita’s biggest Independence Day celebration is back with a downtown view! Join us for Red, White & BOOM! presented by Evergy as we light up the skyline with a spectacular fireworks display launched from the bank of the Arkansas River on Saturday, July 4.
The Show
The fireworks show will begin around 9:30 p.m., immediately following the Wind Surge’s game at Equity Bank Park. Our show will be choreographed to music—guests can download the Pyrocast App or scan a QR code at the event to sync their experience. Bring your lawn chairs, download the Pyrocast App, and get ready for a night of fireworks, food, and community pride in the heart of Wichita!
Food & Festivities
Starting at 6:00 p.m., food vendors will be on the Hyatt Lawn, serving up crowd favorites. Grab dinner, claim a good spot, and enjoy the evening with friends and family.

Road Closures & Safety

Derby
Independence Day Parade, Fireworks & Activities
45th Annual Firecracker Race | July 4 | 4-mile at 7:30 a.m./1-mile at 8:30 a.m.
High Park, 2801 E. James St.
Register now
Join the Derby Running Club for the 45th Annual Derby Firecracker Race. Pick between a 4-mile or 1-mile course looped through High Park. Cash awards for the fastest runners as well as age group awards.
Independence Day Parade | July 4 at 10 a.m.

2026 Route: The parade is sponsored by Derby VFW Post 7253. The parade route will begin at Panther Stadium on Madison Ave., proceed west on Madison to Georgie, south on Georgie to Market, and east on Market returning to the stadium.

Derby Historical Museum Open | July 4, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Woodlawn and Market
Visit the Museum after the parade and enjoy a hot dog. Admission is free. Admission is free, donations are welcome.
Fire Station 81 Open House | July 4, 10:30 a.m. to noon

Derby firefighters will have fire trucks on display along with the Fire Safety House following the parade.

Join the City of Derby for a fantastic fireworks show in the park. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a fun evening with family and friends. Bring your own food or enjoy dinner from one of the food trucks.
