Andy’s Frozen Custard exclusively offers frozen custard treats, including chocolate and vanilla cones and seasonal concretes and sundaes in fun flavors. Seasonal items are available on a limited basis, so be sure to check the menu if you want a Blackberry Concrete or Peach Sundae this summer!

Braum’s

This Midwest-based chain boasts 3 stores in one: a grill, soda fountain and grocery store all within the same building. Offering ice cream, frozen yogurt, sherbet and other sweet treats made with milk from their own private dairy herd. 

Cocoa Dolce

Stop in for a scoop of gelato at Cocoa Dolce! Famous for their artisan chocolates, this Wichita sweets staple has 3 locations (east, west, and downtown) also serves gelato and specialty drinks like Organic Citrus Green Iced Tea, Cocoa Dolce Iced Chocolate and other cold treats. A Lavender Lemonade is the perfect way to beat the heat!

This frozen yogurt spot is located in Andover and has the most darling interiors! This is a fun spot to cool off and get yourself a cool sweet treat with the whole family!

Freddy’s Frozen Custard

Specializing in steakburgers and frozen custard, this chain with local roots also serves sundaes and blended sundaes called concretes.  The Dirt n’ Worms Sundae or Concrete made with vanilla custard, Oreo cookies, Gummi Worms and whipped cream will delight your little ones and you will probably find yourself stealing more than one bite.

This one brings back all the nostalgia. With a 1950s diner theme, we love to order their ice cream milkshakes or malts at the counter! This is a classic retro staple in Wichita that brings back so many memories. 

Papa’s Ice Cream & Treats

Three locations: 3700 E Douglas in Clifton Square, 3801 N Ridge Rd, and 2126 N. Webb Road. We love their ice cream & outrageous shakes!

Cheap Chill Thrill: You can order an ice cream flight, and kids LOVE the extreme shakes (just prepare to share with them – they are huge).

This west-side spot has tasty allergy-friendly treats free of eggs, dairy, gluten, nuts, and soy! Located inside Sunflour Cafe & Collective at 6120 W Central Ave.

This Old Town establishment offers over 200 flavors of yogurt, custard and gelato (though only 14 are served each week). Choose from over 100 toppings including fruits, cookies, and chopped up candy bars. They also serve a variety of burgers & sandwiches.
