NFL FLAG Football is designed with families in mind. Wichita Park & Recreation has partnered with the NFL to bring the nation’s most trusted and recognized flag football program to our community, giving kids a safe, non-contact way to enjoy the excitement of the game.
This is more than football. Your child will build confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship while playing in official NFL gear and learning the fundamentals in a fun, positive environment where everyone belongs.
New in 2026, we’re expanding opportunities with added age divisions for 16- and 17-year-olds, along with both recreational and competitive league options. Whether your child is just starting out or ready for a bigger challenge, there’s a league that fits their age, skill level, and personality.

Designed for boys and girls ages 4-17, NFL FLAG combines exciting gameplay with skill development, teamwork, and endless fun.
- Teams: Play 6v6 in the NFL FLAG Wichita League.
- Games: Two 20-minute halves with a 5-minute halftime.
- Opportunities: Compete in regional tournaments and even qualify for the NFL FLAG Championships at the Pro Bowl!

How to Join
