Tuesdays on the Terrace is back this year with a line-up you won’t want to miss! This is one of our favorite summertime events, and we invite the Wichita community to join us every Tuesday, June through September from 6-8pm!
Whether you’re looking for an after work party, girls night out or family night, Tuesdays on the Terrace is the perfect event for all ages. Botanica is located at 701 Amidon Street in Wichita, Kansas.
Admission Information
Tuesdays on the Terrace is $10 for non-members and $5 for members. Botanica is open year-round, Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. From April-September, we will stay open until 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays (with the exception of events). From April-October, we will be open on Sundays from 1-5 p.m.
Year-round admission is free for children 2 and under, $5 for children ages 3-12 years old, and $7 for adults ages 13 and older. Military and senior adults(ages 62 and older) admission is $6.
Memberships, group admission (10 people or more), tours and school field trips are also available. Guided tours and school trips must call ahead for reservations.
Fun For All Ages
With the kids out of school, Tuesdays are great for spending time with the family. At Tuesdays on the Terrace, parents and children can enjoy listening and dancing to live music from different bands each week. Food and drinks will be available, as well as access to our gardens. This is a great time to stroll through our gardens, while the sun goes down and the weather cools off a bit. Our Downing Children’s Garden is the perfect area to enjoy and discover our natural world. Enjoy educational and entertaining themed areas, such as the musical maze or monster trees that have come to life!
On the other hand, this event is also great for a girls night out, date night or even an after work party. Mix things up with live music, happy hour and horticulture. Guests get to enjoy a cash bar with cocktails, beers, wine and non-alcoholic beverages provided by The Bar’s Open from 6-8 p.m., and view the garden throughout the evening.
Food Vendors include: Friends of Botanica, Noble House Hawaiian Plate Lunch, Wichita Cheesecake Company and Molino’s Cuisine.

That’s not all!
We are excited to bring you a VIP Happy Hour experience on the Koi Pavilion. Our fabulous hosts include Jenny Dawn Cellars, Standard Beverage Corp, and the Chop Shop. Wichita Cheesecake Company will also be offering tastings of their delicious treats.
Tickets are $25 a person. Ticket includes entry into the gardens and concert, an exclusive wine and cheese tasting, light hors-d’oeuvres, live music and more.
VIP hour is from 4:30-6 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance, seating will be limited to 50 people max. Guests must be 21 or older to enter.
