Tulip Festival at Botanica Opens April 10, 2021
The very best tulip display among botanical gardens across the country, more than 110 varieties and 66,000 total tulips bloom annually at Botanica. Each variety is unique with a beauty all its own. For instance, the Parrot Tulip’s cup-shaped, fringed, twisted and ruffled edges are decorated with vivid, flame-like splashes, stripes or feathery markings.
Tulips add color in nearly every corner of Botanica but are concentrated in the Margie Button Memorial Fountain Garden. Tulip displays also enhance the maturing woody collections in which they grow. Find tulips brightening Botanica’s Xeriscape Garden, John Firsching Pinetum & Evergreen Collection and the All Season Perennial Border.
Visit and Enjoy Botanica’s Tulip Festival
Make plans to attend Botanica’s Tulip Festival on April 10, 17, & 24 from 10am-2pm. Join us this beautiful tulip season with some special attractions and activities on these 3 Saturdays. These activities are for all ages, so come enjoy our 20 acres of developed gardens. We are the perfect place to get outside, enjoy a safe environment while social distancing. We will have live music, food trucks, activities in the bee house, carousel rides for $3, Four Points Ranch petting zoo, and more!
The food trucks that will be available are Hot-to-Trot and Noble House. Botanica will also be selling popcorn, sno-cones, and beverages.

Tulip Painting Kits Available for $10
Don’t just look at our tulips….paint them! Channel your inner artist during Botanica’s Tulip Festival by purchasing a Tulip Painting Kit for $10. Appropriate for most ages, your kit will guide you to sketch and paint some of our 66,000 beautiful blooms, either in our gardens or at home after your visit.
Kit includes everything you need to create and display a work of art: blank canvas, easel, paints, brushes, palette, How-To-Draw guide and a tulip identifier bookmark. Each kit will also include a tulip-shaped wildflower seed paper to plant at home! You may purchase them when pre-purchasing your tickets to guarantee your kit or you may purchase the paint kits the day of while supplies last.
