Kauffman Museum in North Newton, Kansas, hosts day camps for curious learners from 4 to 104! Join us for grade-specific camps exploring art, nature and history on the beautiful campus of Kauffman Museum at Bethel College.
We have been around for 10 years and are a state licensed childcare for school aged kids. We offer care for kids who have just completed kindergarten, through kids that are going into 6th grade in the coming fall school year. Our program runs from May 31st- August 5th (Closed Monday July 4th for Independence Day). We are open from 7am- 6pm, Monday through Friday. We do lots of fun programs and activities, including field trips around Wichita to places like Tanganyika Zoo, Exploration Place, Wichita Sports Forum and many others! We are so excited for a fun summer and hope to have your family be apart of it all!
The DRC provides a unique camp experience with field trips throughout Wichita while also providing learning and structure for your child through our Recreation Station camp. Campers can come week-by-week or enroll for the entire summer. Along with Recreation Station at the Hubbard Arts Center, there are also Culinary Arts camps week-by-week with themed experiences where kids learn to cook a variety of foods. Last but not least, Hubbard Arts offers art specific camps working with youth on their skills in different medias. Enroll in Recreation for grades K-5th and Arts/Culinary from ages 5-14.

Did you know more than 150 children in Kansas are diagnosed with cancer each year? Camp Quality Kansas is not in the business of finding a cure for cancer, but we are in the business of ensuring that every child who has been diagnosed with cancer can not only have a summer camp experience, but year-round programs to enhance their quality of life and encourage quality family time.

When a cancer diagnosis comes to a child, in a lot of ways, childhood stops. Vacations, family time, crafts, and campfires are replaced with doctor visits, chemo, isolation and restrictions. With children’s safety and medical needs forefront, Camp Quality Kansas breaks down those barriers for children and families and restores the childhood experience. Surrounded by new friends that can relate, loving volunteers who care, and loads of fun experiences, Camp Quality campers find joy, courage and renewed hope for the future. They are free to be themselves . . . free to be kids again.
Girls on the Run is a girl-empowerment organization that inspires participants to be joyful, healthy, and confident using evidence-based lessons that combine relationship building, community strengthening, and goal setting with physical movement. Registration is now open for girls in the 3rd-8th grade! We have 26 teams across South Central Kansas. All fitness levels welcome, no running experience needed! Tippi Toes® is a mobile dance program that offers dance classes at gyms, rec centers and schools all around the Wichita Greater Metro. Tippi Toes® classes are for boys and girls ages 18 months and up! Our mission is to develop a love of dancing in children by creating a positive experience that promotes healthy living habits, helps build self-confidence, and a love for others. Camp is a summer recreational and leisure day program for children and young adults, kindergarten enrollees – 18 years of age.
Persons over 18 years can attend if they have been enrolled in an educational program during the previous school year.
- Serves children and young adults with disabilities.
- Children and young adults will receive individual attention, assistance, and supervision as needed.
- An appropriate option for children who have restricted mobility and/or use of wheelchairs as their primary form of mobility.
- We will work around your child’s Extended School Year Schedule.
- Breakfast, lunch, and a snack are provided
Youth Education Summer Socialization Program (YESS) is a 10 week summer program serving students ages 5-21 with developmental disabilities. The program offers a half day of education in classroom settings; half day of recreation in the community Monday through Thursdays; and Friday is a recreation day filled with community based socialization activities. The program is designed to help students retain what they have learned during the school year while developing improved communication and socialization skills.
