Just a place for all Wichita area cyclist to get together and ride. I know there is the Google cycling groups but I figured this wouldn’t hurt.

Welcome to Gravel Road Cycling Group of Wichita, Kansas. This group is for all levels of riders who want to get out and ride dirt roads, single track, trails and bike paths. Please feel free to post rides for the Wichita, KS and surrounding areas. Cross, mountain, fat bikes and any other gravel ready bikes riders are welcome.

This group is for women (and men) who want to coordinate bicycle rides together on the west (or any) side of Wichita. Post if you are going for a bike ride and want some company. Post the meeting place, time and about how far you want to go. If you want to join the ride, comment on the post. If you know a friend who wants to join, please invite her (or him) to the group.

Bikes of all kinds cruise around downtown Wichita every Final Friday (weather permitting), checking out the Final Friday art galleries/shows.

Our mission is to develop the sport of cycling in the United States at all levels by bringing together cyclists, coaches, event promoters, community leaders, volunteers, and fans to form communities of those who want to see the sport of cycling prosper. We harness the passion so many have for cycling and turn it into opportunities for us all to enjoy the sport together.

The Kansas River Valley Triathlon Club is a non-profit Kansas corporation whose purpose is to provide an organized forum for training, knowledge sharing, and competing in triathlons and other endurance sports, as well as to encourage general health and wellness of the people of South Central Kansas. In addition, promote and provide fair and safe competitive multi-sport events for individuals of all ages and abilities.

The executive committee (B.o.D.) is charged with the responsibility of providing an environment that promotes social interaction between multi-sport athletes and cooperation between other sister clubs of single sports in the area (i.e. swim, bike and running clubs).

RUN WICHITA supports, encourages, and promotes fitness through running and other healthy activities. RUN WICHITA is open to all, regardless of ability.

MRTT/SRTT strives to provide a fun club for moms (and really ANY woman – not just moms) to get together, run/walk/jog and socialize. We hope to provide an online community built of women who will help answer running questions, encourage each other, train with each other and share their personal running experiences. ANY skill level is welcome – it doesn’t matter how fast you are or how long you’ve been running – you can have fun here!!

A Step Ahead is a partnership dance studio that specializes in the teaching, performance and choreography of swing, latin, ballroom and country western.

Amira’s basics classes are designed to introduce you to the world of cultural dance, providing a sense of well-being and self-confidence by giving our students a feeling of accomplishment and improved self image. Dance training improves coordination and discipline while toning muscles, reshaping your body and feeding your heart!

Safira has studied Middle Eastern dance since she was 17. She has taught Middle Eastern dance for credit at Wichita State University. At her studio, she teaches beginning though advanced classes in Middle Eastern dance as well as Gypsy and Flamenco.

Introducing: Sway Practice Parties! No theme, no fuss, no muss, just a variety of music from Waltz to Two-Step to Cha Cha and dancing! 

Yes! From 7-9pm every Friday starting November 2nd, we will just play music (we do take requests!) for students to practice to! It’s only $5PP for two hours!
Need to brush up on your dance moves before going dancing at a club or party somewhere later in the weekend? Have a performance coming up you need to practice for? Just learned a new dance pattern from your instructor and want to master it? Looking for a practice partner? Just wanna dance any chance you get? Then join us on Fridays from 7-9pm @ Sway Ballroom & Latin Dance Studio!

Class levels are offered from beginning through advanced and in all varieties of dance. Classes run fall through spring with some younger dance classes available for shorter sessions in the spring. Summer sessions run June and July in addition to out-of-state college programs. Re-conditioning classes are offered through the month of August. Each spring WSPA features a spring performance for students who have been enrolled since fall.

Additionally, WSPA offers a Dance Repertoire Theatre by audition every other year. Dancers in repertoire are featured in a fall concert and other community performing opportunities throughout the year.
