Wesley’s gynecologists and obstetricians provide a full range of services for women, from routine gynecology checkups to specialized treatment of breast cancer. Wesley’s philosophy of women’s healthcare focuses on sensitivity, privacy, education and patient involvement in decision-making.

A four-story section of Wesley is the Women’s Hospital, dedicated to the care of women only. Several floors are for pregnancy and maternity care.

The fourth floor is dedicated to inpatients that require hospitalization before the birth of their infant or those who have had gynecological or breast surgery. All rooms are private and are staffed by compassionate nurses. The nursing staff on this unit have won the Quality of Life Award, given by the Wichita Medical Research and Education Foundation, for their dedication to women’s healthcare.

Dr. Rachel Viner is a local chiropractor serving Wichita and the surrounding communities. It is important to Dr. Viner to give the highest quality of health care available in a speedy but enjoyable office visit.

Chiropractic is used to target the problem areas whether it is low back pain, neck pain, headaches or even muscular aches and soreness. Dr. Dennis “Doc” Scharenberg earned his doctorate from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1973. He is certified in post graduate work in Sports and Recreation Injuries from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and Post Graduate studies of Idiopathic Scoliosis. He is a diplomat on the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and Fellow in Acupuncture Society of America and International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture.

Dr. S is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Kansas Chiropractic Association, and the Kansas Chiropractic Foundation (KCF) and is currently President of the KCF. He has been in practice for 33 years in Hillsboro, Herington, and Wichita, KS.

Dr. Scharenberg was awarded Doctor of the Year at the Kansas (statewide) Chiropractic Convention on Sept 30, 2006.
In his practice, Dr. S not only uses standard subluxation techniques, but also, X-rays, Physical Therapy, Laboratory, and Nutrition.

Dr. Chris specializes in the treatment of muscle and joint aches and pains that commonly accompany pregnancy. The deep tissue release techniques along with chiropractic adjustments decrease pregnancy pains, and can ease the pregnancy and delivery process as a whole.

At Mid-Kansas Women’s Center PA, the relationship between the patient and their doctor is not only important, it’s essential. Kristin works with each individual, couple, and family to assist them in building on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. She has a passion for helping others, while providing sincerity and warmth in session. Kristin utilizes her Christian beliefs to help people experience grace, healing, love and hope within their lives.
