Welcome to Sensible Play! We create play opportunities for you & your children to imagine and learn!
During Sensory Play children are improving language skills, problem solving skills, creativity, and fine motor skills. Sensory Play is beneficial in calming and reducing anxiety and stress in young children. The possibilities/benefits are endless!!
We create themed sensory kits and play-dough kits. Our kits will will include either our Fun Dough (play-dough) or different Sensory Mediums. Our sensory mediums include- rice, corn, beans, pasta and more! We also have plastic tool kits, wooden tool kits, and sensory tubs available.
Each full size kit comes with a Play With Me Card. These cards include ways to play, questions to ask during play, and ways to extend the learning and fun!

Wichita is the largest city in Kansas, the home of Wichita State University and also known as the Air Capital. Wichita boasts a vibrant and growing arts and entertainment district. Douglas design district and Old Town feature many breweries, local shops and restaurants. Wichita has a distinct flag and also a large statue of “the keeper of the plains” both of which are a source of pride for the community.
We are a small hobby farm, with a flair for art, located just outside of Augusta, KS. Our menagerie includes alpacas, miniature goats and donkeys, sheep and plenty of chickens. We can host birthday parties and various other types of get-togethers such as Paint With Alpaca parties, etc. For standard party rentals the cost is $75 per hour or for painting parties it’s $25 per painter with a 5 person minimum. If you have any type of additional requests just reach out and we can likely accommodate it!
Paint the Towne offers guided paint parties for ages 5 and up. The birthday child will select one painting from our gallery in advance or a custom painting can be created at no additional charge (requires extra notice). Child parties are $15 per painter and include one hour of painting, one hour of party for ages 5-15. You can bring in any food or drink.
