Learning Lab Wichita will offer one-day workshops and longer, camp-style courses to help kids explore their talents and interests. All offerings will be divided by age range and priced individually. Looking for fun and enriching summer activities for your kids? The Academy at MTWichita offers weekly camps, with a variety of themes to spark your child’s creativity. Let them sing and dance to favorites from Moana, The Greatest Showman, or even Taylor Swift! Or, try Camp Broadway for a mix of acting, singing and dancing from popular shows and movies. The Academy also offers Camp Disney and Sing the Songs of Pixar. Registration opens March 1st. For 80 years, Rock Springs Ranch has been host to generations of young campers. Summer camp at Rock Springs Ranch is open to ages 6-17 years old. Families can choose between 3 or 5 night adventures with enrichment activities, outdoor fun and expanded programming, including a focus on leadership skills.

Wichita Gymnastics

Their 12,000 square foot facility is fully air conditioned and packed with the latest gymnastics and recreational equipment for an active, healthy and fun-filled summer. Your kids are split into small groups to rotate through activities in a safe, fun environment! Activities include: Active Warm Up, Swimming in a well supervised environment, Gymnastics, including a rock wall, zip line, trampoline and rings, Games geared to the child’s age, Arts and Crafts and Snacktime.

STEAM Academy at Mark Arts emphasizes creativity and innovation, linking art to concepts in science, technology, engineering and math. Students will explore mixed media, drawing, painting, and clay projects inspired by the weekly theme. Morning sessions for ages 5-8 will meet from 9 a.m. to noon.
Afternoon sessions, for ages 9-12 will meet from 1–4 p.m. The week will conclude with guest speakers from the Wichita community and an exhibition of the students’ work for family, friends and visitors to experience.

Ready for a summer of Zoo fun? These themed weekday classes let students learn about keeping the planet healthy, creating native animal habitats, conservation, and exploring the outdoors. The Wichita Children’s Theatre and Dance Center offers a variety of programs designed to inspire and educate young performers. Their theatre classes provide children with opportunities to explore acting, improvisation, and stagecraft. Phillips Fundamental Learning Center (PFLC) offers a specialized summer literacy program for children ages 5-10, designed for all learners—especially those with dyslexia. Students attend 24 one-hour lessons, Monday–Thursday, building confidence and essential skills in reading, writing, and spelling before the school year begins. Instead of leveling up on the screen, their expert counselors will lead your camper through a day of crafts, activities, and up-close wildlife experiences. With each week having its own theme, your camper will never get bored hanging out with us all summer! Your Jr. Zookeeper will spend each day learning and having fun through age-appropriate learning pods while playing, building, creating, experimenting, and interacting with Tanganyika’s unique animals!

Join the Museum of World Treasures in one of their three themed summer camps. Campers entering 4th – 5th grade should prepare for a week-long top-secret mission to solve the ultimate mystery at the Museum. Decorate a personalized agent badge, take a fingerprinting class, and solve clues throughout the Museum to track down the secret suspect. Campers entering 5th – 6th grade will hop in a time matching and go back to a land of mythology and monsters. They’ll learn about the tales of Greek Mythology with real artifacts from Ancient Greece. Campers entering 6th – 8th grade will experience the Museum as a wizarding school for a week. The sorting hat will place you into your house before you hunt for horcruxes disguised as artifacts, take flight in a game of quidditch, learn the Latin influence behind spell-making and the chemistry behind potion making.
