The Summer Camps at Bliss will introduce young adventurers to rock climbing/bouldering, but won’t stop there. Children will learn about trust, teamwork, and problem solving while developing their rock climbing skills through interactive games and activities.

STEAM Academy at Mark Arts emphasizes creativity and innovation, linking art to concepts in science, technology, engineering and math. Students will explore mixed media, drawing, painting, and clay projects inspired by the weekly theme. Morning sessions for ages 5-8 will meet from 9 a.m. to noon.
Afternoon sessions, for ages 9-12 will meet from 1–4 p.m. The week will conclude with guest speakers from the Wichita community and an exhibition of the students’ work for family, friends and visitors to experience.

Does your child like to draw, paint, build and create? Then join the Art Park for camps, KDO or weekly classes! They have a WIDE range of camps including art, sculpture, cooking, Lego and science. Building Strong Literacy Skills in Children

Phillips Fundamental Learning Center (PFLC) offers a specialized summer literacy program for children ages 5-10, designed for all learners—especially those with dyslexia. Students attend 24 one-hour lessons, Monday–Thursday, building confidence and essential skills in reading, writing, and spelling before the school year begins. Instead of leveling up on the screen, their expert counselors will lead your camper through a day of crafts, activities, and up-close wildlife experiences. With each week having its own theme, your camper will never get bored hanging out with us all summer! Your Jr. Zookeeper will spend each day learning and having fun through age-appropriate learning pods while playing, building, creating, experimenting, and interacting with Tanganyika’s unique animals!

Bring the joy of family music into your summer! Early childhood Music Together classes offered for babies through age 8. Classes are play-based, developmentally appropriate, research-backed, and fun for both children and adults! Instructors are engaging, highly trained educators. Riverside Family Music also offers private lessons for select instruments.

Join the Museum of World Treasures in one of their three themed summer camps. Campers entering 4th – 5th grade should prepare for a week-long top-secret mission to solve the ultimate mystery at the Museum. Decorate a personalized agent badge, take a fingerprinting class, and solve clues throughout the Museum to track down the secret suspect. Campers entering 5th – 6th grade will hop in a time matching and go back to a land of mythology and monsters. They’ll learn about the tales of Greek Mythology with real artifacts from Ancient Greece. Campers entering 6th – 8th grade will experience the Museum as a wizarding school for a week. The sorting hat will place you into your house before you hunt for horcruxes disguised as artifacts, take flight in a game of quidditch, learn the Latin influence behind spell-making and the chemistry behind potion making.

Join the Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland for a summer filled with tons of Adventure! This summer girls will have opportunities to “Find Your Adventure” with 12 camp sessions at Starwoods Girl Scout Center. Camps range from day camps that run Monday -Thursday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. with free busing available from the Girl Scout office before and after camp, to one-day camps where adult chaperones are welcome but not required, and there are even sleep away camps where campers stay in cabins.
