Spring Break is just around the corner! Thankfully, Wichita has plenty to offer to keep all your kiddos thoroughly entertained. Here are some of the options Wichita has to offer.


Art Park Spring Break Camp

Register now for fun World’s Cutest Animals activities over Spring Break! Each day will feature a new cute and cuddly creature such as a koala, fairy penguin or axolotl.

Half day and full day options – full day participants enjoy exciting afternoon specials such as PE, dance or music activities, geared for ages 4-12.

Exploration Place

LEGO Level-Up What happens when you take a classic like LEGOs and combine them with creativity, imagination and a little circuitry? Your creations come alive!

Reimagine how to build and engineer plastic bricks, design and construct your own LEGO creation. Then add motors to make it move and circuitry to add working lights. Defeat gravity with an upside-down LEGO build, overcome a lava challenge with a LEGO zip line and dance to your own beat alongside a brick robot! $210 for Members, $250 for Non-Members.

Join Girl Scouts at Starwoods Girl Scout Center for four days of fun! Sing up for all four days, or pick and choose the days/themes you like best? Cost: $35 per day Grades K-5

Wichita Parks and Rec Camp Kids Konnection

No School? No Problem! Don’t stress about those in-service days. Kids Konnection is a great camp filled with a variety of activities including sports, games, contests, arts & crafts, and special events.

This camp is licensed by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) and open to children ages 6-12 in a 1:15 staff to child ratio setting.

The Y’s SPRING BREAK CLUB, offered March 11-15, lets parents keep their schedules and gives kids fun time with friends. Sedgwick County Zoo

Spend Spring Break at the Zoo! Spring Fling is an all-day, five-day program engaging students with animals and nature with classroom experiments and field lessons as well as having fun with peers. Open to kids age 6-12 years in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Monday, March 11 through Friday, March 15, 2024, Ticket sales end on Friday, March 8 at 12 noon.

Wichita Art Museum

Camp sessions are taught by knowledgeable instructors and feature a wide array of skill building and creative outlets.

Drop off your child, ages 6-12, for a “Creation Vacation” at WAM—where creativity never takes a break! During each 3-hour session, they will enjoy an afternoon of creativity including looking at art, hands-on exploration of art materials and techniques, and making their own artwork. Sign up for one day or all three!

  1. hi, just a heads up but Xtreme Racing & Entertainment Wichita is permanently closed so it you might want to update this list a little.

  2. Another camp to consider is CityArts has a Spring break camp. CityArts Art Camps are great for children 6-15 who enjoy art and want to explore new mediums! Each day the students will work with a variety of art methods like drawing, painting, sculpture, clay, photography, printmaking and more. Wear clothes that you wouldn’t mind getting messy in, bring snacks, lunch, and a reusable water bottle and be ready to make new friends while learning about the arts. Camp runs from 9:00-4:00 with early drop-off beginning at 8:00 a.m. and late pickup until 5:30 p.m.

    CityArts is a licensed childcare facility as a School Age Program through the Kansas Department of Health and Environment to give families access to high-quality, affordable childcare. Our mission is to empower youth to gain life skills through the arts to encourage positive risk-taking, promote leadership development, and build character pathways through an art camp experience.
