This would be perfect for a fun activity with young children that enjoy cooking. They offer seasonal themed events geared toward their age group.

If you are looking for a longer evening out, consider driving out to McPherson KS- about a 1.5 hour drive from Wichita to visit locally owned Cook’s Nook. Offering a broad variety of classes from knife skills to gourmet pizza making, there is a selection for everyone.

Virtual/At Home Idea:
For a more budget friendly option, find a recipe or virtual cooking lesson via Youtube or a favorite chef (my favorite is Selena + Chef). For a date night in, wait until the kids are in bed and plan to have a later meal that you can cook with your partner without the normal dinner chaos. For a group idea, host a cooking lesson in your home with friends.
