Christmas in the Park

- Christmas in the Park a new event that combines Breakfast with Santa, Santa’s Village and carriage rides, will be held on one day at one location. The event will include breakfast, pictures with Santa, a petting zoo with reindeer, holiday-themed inflatable’s, carolers, Christmas crafts and stories, toy train displays, ginger bread house decorating contest and Clydesdale drawn carriage rides throughout the park. Christmas Parade: Polar Express
- December 7, 6 p.m.
- Join the Derby VFW and Chamber of Commerce for the annual Christmas Parade. The parade begins at Derby Middle School, proceeds west on Madison to Georgie, south to Market and east on Market back to Woodlawn.

Downtown Wichita First Friday
First Friday happens the first Friday of each month. Art galleries, museums, restaurants and retail shops around Wichita stay open late and welcome visitors. Recognizing that Downtown is the artistic and cultural center for the region, the Q-Line trolley service transports art lovers to the concentration of venues in Downtown. The ride is free and allows attendees to park once and visit several galleries.

Wichita Art Museum: Friends of the Wichita Art Museum Holiday Open House

- Warm up with holiday refreshments, entertainment, artmaking, Christmas storytelling, and a visit with Santa Claus. Don’t miss this heartwarming event for young and old, creating memories you will cherish throughout the holiday season and beyond. Museum admission is free all day.
Old Cowtown Museum: Victorian Christmas
- December 6, 7, 13 & 14, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- When the weather outside is frightful, Cowtown’s lamp-lit, carol-filled streets will warm you up! There’s something magical about bundling up, stepping into the cold, and enjoying a warm cup of hot chocolate with family and friends. Take a wagon ride, see what’s cooking at the farm, and enjoy a Victorian town ready for Christmas.
