The Keeper of the Plains is the most iconic spot in Wichita! This bronze statue stands at 44 feet tall where the Big Arkansas River and Little Arkansas River meet.

Nightly Ring of Fire Lighting
The “Ring of Fire” burns every night for 15 minutes.It is not on during high winds, rain, inclement weather, if the river level is too high, or if something is too close to the burners.

The Wichita Troll
Just a quick walk from the Keeper, keen eyes can spot the Wichita troll hiding under a grate near the Westar Power Building. He’s a 7-foot scuplture that you have to see to believe!
