2nd Annual Mummies’ Night Out Event Recap

For the second year in a row, tickets sold out in a mere three minutes!

Swag bags were stuffed with impressive goodies from some of our favorite brands and businesses. The food was delicious and the drinks were flowing. On Thursday, October 26th, 300 moms had a night to themselves to get relax, shop, and get crafty. Mummies’ Night Out 2017 was fabulously fun – all treats and no tricks. We can’t wait to see you ghouls again next year!

A special thank you to our Co-Title Sponsors, Smith Orthodontics and Ashley HomeStore – and of course to the WMB Team – without you, our events could not be a success!

We were all smiles working with Smith Orthodontics‘ knowledgeable team of heroes. Their “Witch’s Brew” was a delightful mocktail and paired nicely with the gorgeous chocolates they handed out. Moms toted around their swag in bags provided by Smith Orthodontics that continued to fill to the brim throughout the night.

We’ve loved working with Ashley HomeStore and value their commitment to bringing quality furniture, accessories, and mattresses to Wichita families. Guests ohhh and ahhhed over their aspirational display all night and everyone crossed their fingers to win one of the two $2,500 shopping sprees.

The Location

We couldn’t have asked for a more chic backdrop for our Mummies’ Night Out. The Wichita Art Museum was our generous host for our evening. The Museum Store is a hidden gem and was graciously open for Mummies’ shopping.

Entertainment

Black Tie Celebrations had guests singing and dancing along with the greatest playlist of hits perfect for a epic moms’ night out. We had a great time with our favorite DJ, Sean!

And a huge thank you to Just Face It, Hilary is so much fun to work with, and her creativity was a hit of the evening! We saw all kinds of creative, creepy face painting throughout the event.

#WMBGivesBack

We filled boxes upon boxes with book for emerging readers for our non-profit partner Storytime Village to distribute to children in our community. Thank you to all who participated in the initiative. We love that the books will contribute to Storytime’s Village’s mission of providing early childhood development, family engagement around reading and access to books.
