Library Fun for Teens & Adults

As the summer fun winds down and you start thinking about back-to-school shopping, don’t forget to put a Wichita Public Library card at the top of your list! Your free library card gives your child access to free books and resources to help with school projects, reading assignments and more.

Teens will benefit from the plethora of online research databases to help with school research papers and projects. There are also tons of great test prep resources available to prepare for college admissions tests and more. Here’s a link to the Library’s “Prepare for a Test” page.

The Library’s website has a huge list of resources that provide homework help to kids, including “Ben’s Guide to the U.S. Government” and “The Imagination Factory.” Click here to view more!

Also – if you are a teacher (or are friends with a teacher), you can have them schedule a visit to the Advanced Learning Library downtown! The library offers tours during business hours upon advance request. Visit this page for information about class visits.
