I love to shop, and I love finding unique styles that I can work into my wardrobe that are versatile. When planning a shopping trip, my mind thinks about what shops are on the east side of Wichita, in New Market Square or near downtown – but K. Lane’s Boutique is a nice surprise on the west side of town near Kellogg and Tyler Road. They’ve been in Wichita for 13 years, and I recently had the opportunity to go in there and pick out some of my favorite finds and it was so hard to narrow it down! They have something for everyone.
The staff was incredibly helpful and ready and willing to help style an outfit. They greeted every customer like she was a friend. I love when I enter a store and they ask me if I’m looking for anything specific or something for an event. Every week on their social media pages they feature a “Trendy Tuesday” and “What’s New Wednesday” so customers can easily stay on top of their inventory online! My favorite is when they do “Throw Down Thursday” where their in-store stylists put together different outfits with one piece in common to show how versatile that piece can be.
And it’s not just clothing – they’ve also got tons of accessories. I like to get the most bang for my buck by purchasing pieces that I can wear multiple times in multiple ways and what better way to do that than pairing it with the right accessories? Here are my favorite fall finds at K. Lane’s this season!
Olive Swing Dress & Camo Shoes
This olive dress accessorized with camo print. I love this dress because there are so many different ways to style it. Camouflage is very in style right now and K. Lane’s has two different styles of camo shoes. They have a camo sneaker as well as a camo canvas sneaker pictured here. I was obsessed with these camo leather earrings and the camo bracelet.
Plum Cardigan with Mustard Accessories
This plum cardigan with a gray undershirt and a pop of mustard is the perfect look for fall. It’s cute and comfortable. I like that this outfit can be casual or dressed up with the right shoes and accessories. This mustard necklace really makes these booties pop. Plum and mustard are popular colors this fall. My favorite part about this outfit is the Wichita earrings!
Wichita Flag Earrings
These Wichita earring are a lightweight leather material. They aren’t heavy on your ears and they come in some fun colors and shapes. This is definitely a unique find at K. Lane’s. I’ve seen Wichita apparel sold in so many stores and boutiques around town, but I’ve never seen Wichita flag earrings!
Long Leopard Cardi & Booties
The last outfit that I put together I wanted to show two different ways: dressed up as well as a more causal look. I love leopard print. This cardigan with leopard detail comes in the burgundy color pictured as well as olive green. By pairing it with the black jeans, this necklace and these adorable leopard booties makes this outfit look dressed up and ready for a night out!
By using the same cardigan, but switching out the black tank underneath for a fun graphic tee and pairing it with these fun leopard sneakers, you can easily make this outfit more causal. This is the perfect graphic tee for the Halloween season!
