KS Dept of Ed is delaying implementation of the State Dyslexia Recommendations for screening accepted in November 2019. Kansas students will now wait even longer to get what science & The National Reading Panel shows works for literacy instruction for ALL students. If you have a child who is struggling to read, contact Fundamental Learning Center for a full assessment for dyslexia and other reading difficulties. It is an assessment that is more than a screening and more than a few minutes long. Our Dyslexia assessments are for children ages 5-18, last two hours and include evaluations of verbal, phonological, alphabet, reading, writing and spelling skills. We let you know why your child is struggling to learn and what the next steps can be to help. Contact Michelle at 316-440-1388 or by email at [email protected] to schedule your assessment today.

Thank you for your interest in Central Christian Academy (CCA) for your child’s education. As a ministry of Central Christian Church for more than 35 years, our mission is to partner with the local church and Christian families who desire both quality academics and a Christ-centered, biblically-based education for their children.
By the time a child graduates from high school, they will have spent more than 14,000 hours in a school setting being instructed and mentored by their teachers. Therefore, the choice you make regarding which school your children attends is one of critical importance, both from an academic point of view and, more importantly, in terms of spiritual development. As Jesus said, “… everyone who is fully trained will be like his/her teacher.” (Luke 6:40). The faculty and staff at CCA are carefully selected for their academic excellence and their Christ-like example.
At Camp Invention, children invent, build, question, and discover. They experience real-world problem solving and creative thinking as they transform the terrain and ecosystem of a distant exoplanet, take risks as future entrepreneurs, blast rockets and rubber chickens, and wire a circuit to create their own Spy Gadget Alarm Box! Local educators lead a week of hands-on activities that fuel children’s 21st century skills.
At Learning Lab Wichita, our learning opportunities focus on personalized learning, which helps students explore their interests and talents. We currently have a child care center in Wichita, Kansas. Our main goal is to make a true difference in the way child care is offered. We want the friendly, comfort of an in-home daycare, but the standards of a traditional center. Our staff must meet the highest expectations of a teacher. We run our centers with an emphasis on love, compassion, and learning. We focus on child-led learning and engaging every single person to provide the best care possible. In addition to the owners who strive to be actively involved, we also have program coordinators, directors, and on-call social workers. We start care at 2 weeks to 12 years old at an affordable rate.
We have been around for 10 years and are a state licensed childcare for school aged kids.
