Top 10 Best Online and App-Based Workouts for Busy Moms

Even as an introvert, I really love group fitness classes. I always push myself harder than when I am by myself. But as a busy mom of three, taking time to get to the gym at exactly the scheduled time of the class I want is really hard. Lately I have been exploring several online and app-based workouts, as well as collecting recommendations from friends. Here are several that we love!

This is included in your membership! Since we use the pool year-round, we have a membership. Logging into the app on my phone (or casting from my computer to the big tv in the basement) allows me to “get to class” when I have the time.

Peloton

We are all familiar with the bikes and treadmills, but you can also subscribe to their app and get great workouts on your phone.

Down Dog app

Select your time, level, focus, voice, and music, and Down Dog creates a unique, personalized yoga practice every time.

Yoga With Adrienne

You can choose a monthly or annual fee for this app. There are workouts, resources and guided programs available.

Sydney Cummings Houdyshell

This youtube channel has all kinds of HIIT and cardio workouts, as well as “shorts” for when you don’t have a ton of time.

Meaghan Koci
Meaghan wears many hats throughout the day: wife to husband of fifteen years, Jeremy, mom to two incredible children, Jacob and Aliza, legal assistant, foster parent, and surrogate. A Wichita native, she met her husband at K-State (Go State!) and they moved from coast (Los Angeles, CA) to coast (Manchester, NH and Groton, CT) before settling back down in Kansas. She is a big fan of her crock pots, has read more than a novel a day for the last five years, and crochets in her “spare” time.
