We recently embarked on a 20+ hour (each way!) road trip. We knew we’d need some things to keep us occupied, so although we allowed our kids some screen time and plenty of conversation time along the way, we also listened to some audiobooks that we all enjoyed!
We borrowed them through the Libby app with our library cards. Audible has them if you have a membership, and you can download them affordably from Amazon Prime as well.
My boys are 9 and 11, and appreciate adventure, mysteries, and sports books geared for adolescents. Here is a list of books that have all been recommended!
