October is national pizza month – who doesn’t love pizza? It’s generally a delicious crowd-pleaser and easy for families on the go!

While Wichita may be the birthplace of Pizza Hut, for those of us with gluten-free needs it isn’t always as easy as calling the nearest pizza delivery guy. The choices have improved over the years for those of us with gluten intolerance or wheat allergies. Whether you choose to make a pizza at home or grab it to go, we’ve got some Wichita options for you.

Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Pizza Crust Mix available at Whole Foods
It’s makes two 12-inch pizza, one 16-inch pizza or a full-size cookie sheet.

Costco
Costco offers two options in the frozen section.
Milton’s Craft Bakers Roasted Vegetable Cauliflower Crust Pizza
Sabatasso’s Gluten-free Four-Cheese Pizza

Papa Murphy’s
They offer Udi’s gluten-free crusts.

Blaze Pizza

Blaze Pizza has a clear disclaimer on their gluten free crust. We work with wheat-based flour, and do not use a separate oven or press for our gluten-free dough. If you are highly sensitive to gluten, please consider your dining choices carefully.

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse
East: 7960 East Kellogg
BJ’s offers several options of pizza on their herb-infused gluten-free crust or you can build your own.

Chuck E. Cheese
East: 3223 N. Rock Rd.
Chuck E. Cheese is a great location for kids. They offer a classic cheese pizza with a delicious Smart Flour™ crust. Note: pizza is prepared in a shared kitchen and cannot be guaranteed completely free of gluten.

Gambino’s
While there aren’t many locations around Wichita, they do serve the surrounding areas like Andover and El Dorado. Recommend that you call ahead to confirm your location has the gluten-free crust.

YaYa’s
East: Bradley Fair, 8115 E. 21st N.
YaYa’s pizzas are more on the gourmet side. Choose from their regular menu but be sure to specify “gluten free”.

Ziggy’s Pizza

Ziggy’s Pizza is another fab spot for gluten-free pizza. It’s a 10” round made with brown rice flour. You can build your own or order off the menu!
