7 Products That Make Organizing Your Home Super Easy

When we moved almost two years, I was bound and determined to keep my house organized. While it’s not perfect by any means, it’s much better than if I didn’t take a little time to make a place for things. I still have a lot of work to do but I have found some items and learned some tips that have helped along the way.

Don’t try to do everything at once especially if you’re overwhelmed. Concentrate on one room or one area of a room at a time. Making Magical Spaces here in Wichita has some great tips and a calendar of items to organize each day. When I first started, I picked one room and did a small part of it at a time. Don’t forget when purging items to check out this post where to donate items in Wichita!

Let’s dive into some of my favorite organization products! There are a lot to choose from and so many are versatile to work in most rooms you’d need them in.

Rack Organizers

This can rack organizer is awesome. I love having this in my pantry. If you don’t have as deep of a space, there are risers available to set your cans on so more are visible.

Kitchen Turntables

Kitchen turntables like this one are handy. I use them in my spice cabinet for all my spices, seasonings and oils and even have a few in my pantry for condiments, can overfill and more. These work great for the medicine cabinet too.

Baskets

I love plastic baskets like these. I use them in my pantry for my bags of rice, boxes of pasta and mac and cheese, snacks, and more. There are different sizes to fit your needs. I like using this size as well. They keep everything contained. I’ve seen people use the clear individual sealable containers to dump products in but it was more money than I wanted to spend and took up more room, so I opted for a less expensive option like this.

Storage Trays

These long storage trays are great everywhere. I use the opaque ones like these for my junk drawers, utensil drawers and more. I don’t know why but I like the clear ones better for my bathroom drawers for makeup, toothbrushes, etc. I really like the smaller squarer trays like these to hold little things in the junk drawer like rubber bands, small batteries, short cords and safety pins. The trick to using these is clear museum gel. You take a little ball in the four corners of the trays and gently press them down in the drawers. Now they won’t move when you open and close the drawers! Winning!

Tiered Storage Racks

When we moved, I lost my huge bathroom cabinet. I’m also a big beauty and hair care junkie. So, I was missing all the space I had previously until I found this two-tiered storage rack. I love that I can pull out the drawers to find what I need, and it holds quite a bit. This worked great for my hair care products and tools. It’s handy for cleaning products as well.

I’m not a professional but love finding ways to make my life easier by making things neat and finding a spot for everything. What are some of your favorite products or tips you have for getting more organized?
