Need a fun summer activity for your whole family?
Join all the summer fun on August 26th on the Heartspring campus for our FUNdraising festival jam-packed with activities for even your pickiest friend or family member.
We’ve taken two great events – the FREE Autism CARE Walk and PedalFest bike rides – and put them together on the same day. We also threw in fun family activities, music, food trucks, and plenty of other summer activities. It’s like your neighborhood block party but even better and without that suspect casserole dish.

Here are some of the amazing activities we’ll have:
- Autism CARE Walk – Free
- PedalFest 5K Family Ride –Free
- 100K and 50K Bike Rides – $75/person
- 5k Run – $45/person
- Music From Annie Up, Patz and DJ Carbon – Free
- Family Activities – Free
- Access to food trucks and a beverage garden and more throughout the day.
And, remember, as you are pedaling through the last few miles of your 100K bike ride or playing games with your kids, it’s all for a great cause. You’ll be raising money for the children and families at Heartspring.

CAREfest takes two Wichita staples (PedalFest and the Autism CARE Walk) and combines them into a fun-filled day for the whole family.

Did you say free? Both the Autism CARE Walk, general admission, the family activities and the 5K family ride are completely free of charge!

It’s a new and improved Autism CARE Walk. We will have fun activities and stations along the walk.

We’ve got music from Annie Up, Patz, and DJ Carbon!

Do you have a cyclist in the house? PedalFest has two rides (the 50K and the 100K) through the scenic Wichita countryside. Riders are fully supported with SAG Stops and mechanical assistance. Your PedalFest registration also gets you a T-shirt, breakfast, lunch and a drink at the beverage garden!

More of a runner? We’ve got you covered with our 5K! And all 5K participants get a T-shirt, lunch and a beverage garden ticket.

Who doesn’t love a good car show? General admission also gets you access to the Heartspring car show and all the unique and cool cars that participate.

We will have some of the best Wichita food trucks parked and ready for lunch or dinner! Throughout the day, Funky Monkey Munchies, Face Stuffers, Kona Ice and Life Gives You Lemons wil all be here.

Need something for mom and dad? We are working with Shaken Or Stirred to create a beverage garden for some 21+ refreshments.

At the end of your summer-fun-filled day, you’ll know it was for a great cause. All of the funds raised at CAREfest will be going back to Heartspring and the family and children we serve. Whether you advocate for individuals impacted by autism in the Autism CARE Walk, ride in PedalFest or just spend the day with your family—you’ll be making a difference.
