Botanica’s Fall Lineup for Family-Friendly Fun
Wichita Garden hosts outdoor concerts and seasonally inspired events!
The seasons are changing and Botanica has never been more beautiful. Bring your family to the Wichita Gardens in October for fun fall experiences! With a variety of events, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at Botanica this month.
Both themed for families, headline events include BOOtanica and Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular. Kicking off the October lineup, The Long Run tribute band hosts an outdoor concert on the Grand Lawn Stage. Botanica’s 20 acre gardens are the perfect outdoor space to soak up the sights, sounds and smells of fall in Kansas this year.

For a fun fall event that caters to kids, come to BOOtanica! Stations set up throughout the Wichita Gardens invite children of all ages to engage and imagine. Time slotted tickets are available for purchase online. Come in costume, if you like, and spend a leisurely Saturday with family and friends at BOOtanica.
Enjoy everything there is to love about the season while strolling through Botanica during four fun-filled nights at Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular! Carved by volunteer groups in the Wichita community, find more than 1,000 unique pumpkins glowing in the dark. Pumpkin sculptures are also on display and fire pits are set up for s’mores. If you dare, wander through the Haunted Woodland Walk! Listen to live music on the Grand Lawn stage and grab a cocktail from Bar on Demand. Purchase food from local restaurants and food trucks. This is a family-friendly event, perfect for all ages!
Proceeds from these events support the Downing Children’s Garden, youth events and educational programming. Botanica donates a complimentary family pass to all Boys and Girls Club members. Sponsors’ support keeps ticket prices low for this community event. Presenting sponsors include; Spirit AeroSystems, Kansas Golf & Turf, Cox Communication, Metro Courier and Aegis Group.
The Long Run Tribute Band
You’re also invited to Botanica’s Grand Lawn in the Koch Carousel Gardens for an evening of live music, food trucks and bar service. The Long Run is a group of professional musicians dedicated to the faithful reproduction of the music of America’s most iconic band, The Eagles. Bring your own lawn chair and groove to the sounds of the ‘70s.
