This summer, take your family on a dazzling journey through Glass in Flight 2, Botanica’s brand-new outdoor exhibit that features larger-than-life glass sculptures of nature’s most majestic flyers!
From vibrant butterflies to delicate dragonflies, this colorful and awe-inspiring exhibit invites guests of all ages to marvel at the beauty and detail of insects in motion—crafted entirely from glass and metal.
A One-of-a-Kind Fusion of Art and Nature

Featuring 25 vibrant, kiln-fired glass and metalwork sculptures made by artist Alex Heveri, each glass piece captures the graceful movement and intricate design of butterflies, bees, moths, and more.
Towering up to 13 feet tall with wingspans stretching over 8 feet, these shimmering sculptures blend harmoniously into Botanica’s lush landscapes, offering breathtaking photo ops and a unique educational opportunity.
