ICT Community Fridge Project | An Exciting New Mutual Aid Initiative in Wichita

ICT Community Fridge Project

ICT Community Fridge Project is a mutual aid initiative providing free food to those in need 24/7 at their five Wichita locations. The fresh food fridges, along with pantry shelving for non-perishable items at some locations, sit on properties throughout Wichita. Leaders of local businesses and organizations can volunteer their space as a fridge site, and all community members are welcome to give or take food.

How to Help

You can make cash donations via CashApp or PayPal, or supply sealed, fresh and non-perishable food donations to one of the refrigerator locations. Shop their Amazon Wish List here.

The organization also needs refrigerator donations and business/organizations to act as host sites. Click here to visit the website for more information, or follow them on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

Nicole Nickel
Hi, I’m Nicole! I’m a mommy to two young kids: Scarlet and Easton, and wife to Justin. We also have 2 furbaby Labs. I am an Oklahoma girl, born and raised. I’ve been here in Wichita since October 2016. Moving from my home of Norman has been tough, but what a great community to relocate! We love to get out explore the area, finding fun family activities! In addition to mom and wife, I am speech-language pathologist. Some of my favorite things-being an OK girl, I am a die-hard OU football fan (Boomer!), being outdoors, traveling, friends and family, wine and coffee!
