All Things BBQ is the Holy Land for any BBQ enthusiast. They specialize in grills, smokers, grill accessories, sauces, and rubs. This is on my of my go-to store for gifts for my husband. They also offer cooking classes to help make the most of your grilling endeavors. The best part is you eat while you learn. What a perfect date night!
Love of Character
For the Party Planner
Love of Character is your one stop shop for all things party related. They carry darling paper goods, party supplies, and gifts that Cupid would be envious of. Looking for Valentine gifts? Love of Character has fun single cards, Sugarfina candy, Avery & Grey hair bows, and kid Valentine card packs. LOC also has a darling event space for showers, birthday parties, and other events you need an intimate setting for.
Wichita Art Museum
For the Art Lover
Museums are a fabulous place to find local and cultural gifts for your loved ones. WAM has a great supply of gifts for every age and interest. They have darling home decor (I’m loving the wall succulent display!), toys for the kids, as well as fun art ‘accessories.’ The Buddah Board was so fun ‘painting’ with-You simply paint on the surface with water and your creation will come to life in bold design. Then as the water slowly evaporates, your art will magically disappear leaving you with a clean slate to create a whole new masterpiece. FYI- there is NO admission charge to visit the WAM gift shop. Though I don’t know if I could just visit the store and not browse through some fabulous art in the museum!
The Workroom
For the ICT Lover
Have a loved one who loves all things Wichita? The Workroom is the place to shop! They have Wichita flag everything- t-shirts, cards, artwork, hats, etc. I especially love the long, ‘ICT’ bar necklace (below)! They also support the local art community by carrying items by Wichita artists.
Watermark Books
For the Bookworm
This local literary gem is the place to go for all things book-related. Grab your loved one a best seller and snag yourself a coffee in their darling café. They also have a wonderful children’s area, creative gifts, and book accessories any friend from Book Club would adore (check out that darling typewriter scarf!).
