In addition to being home to the most interactive animal experiences in the Midwest, Tanganyika Wildlife Park debuted its 5,000 sq foot animal-themed aquatic attraction – Tanganyika Falls Splash Park – last spring. Your kids can cool off under two giant dump buckets. Scream and laugh as they slide down four different slides, have water gun fights with their friends, and come home exhausted after a day of fun in the sun.
But, it’s not all about the kids, you can enjoy it as well to sit and soak up some sun while making a visit to the Thirsty Sloth Bar! You’ll also notice the new gorgeous ‘cabanalows’ conveniently located overlooking the splash park – perfect for birthday parties, family gatherings, or just beating the heat. The fun doesn’t stop there. We have new things to see at Tanganyika this season – including a new baby pygmy hippo named Link, and a ‘Bird Walk’ that features many species of birds throughout.
