WICHITA, Kansas — The next time your family visits Exploration Place, you may notice something a bit different! Beginning April 20th, families will be able to visit Health Inside Out, an exciting new permanent health exhibit for kids that encourages health education and career development through sixteen interactive experiences.
New Health Exhibit for Kids at Exploration Place
What to Expect
This state-of-the-art addition to Exploration Place is a “wonderfully weird” new permanent exhibit and a hub of discovery, fascination and respect for the human body – inside and out!
The new exhibit includes:
- arcade games with a health twist
- a real EMS helicopter
- virtual (emotional) rollercoaster
- topical (and satisfying!) Whack-a-Virus experience
- play a giant game of Operation
- sit on the fart chair
- nutrition skeeball
- and more!
Hours
Monday – Sunday: 10am-5pm
Thursdays: 10am-8pm
Admission
This health exhibit for kids is included with regular admission.
Members: Free
Adults (12-64): $11.50
Youth (3-11): $8
2 & Under: Free
