You clasp the mug. You hold it to your heart and breath in the fragrance for a moment, before taking that first almost-too hot sip. Ahhhhh. You’re alive.
Whether it plays an important part of your morning ritual or it’s an occasional treat, whether you’re a coffee snob or you grab it at the gas station, coffee is an entire culture to itself.
We’re celebrating National Coffee Day by sharing some awesome local coffee roasters. We know you care deeply about supporting local businesses – and this is a great way to do that AND get caffeinated.
It’s also a great way to make sure your coffee is ethically sourced – you can ask the roaster more about it directly! The coffee trade is worth billions globally, with many farmers getting a tiny percentage of the profits. Using your purchasing power for good has never tasted so wonderful as a local latte.
Buying locally roasted coffee also has the advantage of being fresher, for a high-quality java juice. Did you know that coffee beans could get moldy? No thanks! Like many things, fresher coffee ends up being better for us, and could even result in fewer of the side effects coffee lovers ignore (we don’t talk about jitters!)
Buying from a local coffee roaster also means you can try unique blends and flavors, to switch it up or find a new favorite.
