Spring Break is just around the corner! Thankfully, Wichita has plenty to offer to keep all your kiddos thoroughly entertained. Here are some of the options Wichita has to offer!
Art Park Spring Break Camp
Looking for a fun activity for your kiddos over spring break? Then look no further! We have Hawaiian Vacation themed KDO; half or full day options available, geared for ages 4-12.
$30-$45 pp/per day
Your child must pre-register! Don’t forget to bring a lunch and snacks, dress for mess, and bring outdoor wear!
- Mar. 10: Hawaiian Vacation theme: volcano day! Draw a volcano with oil pastel, learn about the layers of planet Earth and participate in a Lego challenge build.
- Mar. 13: Hawaiian Vacation theme: Hibiscus on mat board. Watercolor a hibiscus in a larger than life style.
- Mar. 14: Hawaiian Vacation theme: Make cool crayon rubbings with texture plates & collage a Tiki totem.
- Mar. 15: Hawaiian Vacation theme: Draw a Hawaiian dancer and color with Copic markers, students will enjoy making pineapple smoothies to eat.
- Mar. 16: Hawaiian Vacation theme: Paint a dolphin and coral reef with watercolor and wax resist.
- Mar. 17: Hawaiian Vacation theme: Draw beautiful birds of Hawaii including the Nene goose and I’iwi.
Jurassic Action Spring Break Camp March 13 – 17 | 9 am – 4 pm | $250 or $212.50 for members
Your child will step into the shoes of a paleontologist through fun and immersive activities that teach about prehistoric eras. Campers will get their hands dirty digging for fossils and sifting through slag. Through interactive gameplay, dive under the Earth’s surface to learn about fossils.
Great Plains Nature Center
Mighty Camp at Genesis Health Club
When school’s out, Mighty Camps at Genesis are the place to be! Our sports and activity camps are designed for children between the ages of 5–12 years (Kansas campers must be in Kindergarten).
At Mighty Camp, kids get away from their screens and get active! They’ll try new sports, swim, explore their hometown on field trips, participate in STEAM activities, engage in life skills and character building lessons, learn about healthy cooking, and even try their hand at improv and yoga. Your kiddo just might discover a new hobby!
Paint the Towne
Drop in for $10 canvas classes and Open Studios over Spring Break for canvas, wood, pottery, and fun!
Riverside Music Together
Bring your teddy bears for a musical “Teddy Bear Picnic” this March! Enjoy a Music Together class, a yummy teddy bear treat, and lots of fun singing, dancing, and playing with friends!
Tanganyika Wildlife Park
Why not give your camper a wildly different spring break adventure with Tanganyika’s spring break camp! Filled with daily animal interactions, hands-on activities, and fun games with their friends, your camper will have an unforgettable spring break! For ages 6-13.

The Y’s SPRING BREAK CLUB, offered March 10 and March 13-17, lets parents keep their schedules and gives kids fun time with friends. Certified child care staff oversees educational, entertaining and inclusive activities. Healthy breakfast and afternoon snack provided (kids must bring lunch daily). Wichita Art Museum
Go on a vacation without leaving the museum! Each day, visit the beach, the mountains, and other vacation destinations by exploring works of art in the galleries.
Create a souvenir of your visit with fun artmaking. Drop in for one or spend all three days at the Wichita Art Museum.

Special SPRING BREAK KIDS DAY OUTS are a great time for some active fun for your kids! The same fun as our regular KDO, we supply it all: obstacle course, zip line, maze, and more! Plus, we supply the snacks and juice.

Wichita Parks and Rec Camp Kids Konnection
No School? No Problem! Don’t stress about those in-service days. Kids Konnection is a great camp filled with a variety of activities including sports, games, contests, arts & crafts, and special events.
This camp is licensed by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) and open to children ages 6-12 in a 1:15 staff to child ratio setting. Camp dates are March 13-17.

The best spring break fun will be found at your Wichita Public Library this year! With a week of FREE creative and educational programs scheduled out, there is something fun for all ages (toddlers through teens).

Another camp to consider is CityArts has a Spring break camp. CityArts Art Camps are great for children 6-15 who enjoy art and want to explore new mediums! Each day the students will work with a variety of art methods like drawing, painting, sculpture, clay, photography, printmaking and more. Wear clothes that you wouldn’t mind getting messy in, bring snacks, lunch, and a reusable water bottle and be ready to make new friends while learning about the arts. Camp runs from 9:00-4:00 with early drop-off beginning at 8:00 a.m. and late pickup until 5:30 p.m.
CityArts is a licensed childcare facility as a School Age Program through the Kansas Department of Health and Environment to give families access to high-quality, affordable childcare.
