Spring Break WichitaSpring Break is just around the corner! Thankfully, Wichita has plenty to offer to keep all your kiddos thoroughly entertained. Here are some of the options ICT has to offer!

Exploration Place

Camp in a Box is an exciting take-home kit bursting with a multitude of hands-on activities that will keep your child immersed in all things STEM, all day long. Choose a time that best suits your schedule, with sessions at 9 a.m. or 10 a.m.

Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland

Join us for an extra dose of amazing at our spring break Adventure Days, where girls will explore secret paths, use rocks to leave trail messages, challenge themselves on our team building course, and practice outdoor skills. Girls in grades 2-3 have the opportunity to spend one full day at camp while girls in grades 4-8 also explore the stars during the ultimate camp slumber party.

Bubs & Butterflied Spring Break STEAM Academy

Dates: March 22 – 26
Times: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. | Ages: 5 – 8
1 p.m. – 3 p.m. | Ages: 9 – 12
Learn about the life cycle of different insects and the jobs they have to stay busy, whether they are a busy bee or a strong ant. Create suncatcher fireflies, make bug magnets and use your creativity to build your own bug.

Sedgwick County Extension Center

Spring Break Activity Kits for kids grandes 2-5 can now be ordered for at-home fun! The kits include over two dozen hands-on activities that will appeal to many different kids.  Many of the activities feature outdoor, nature-based, agriculture, or plant-science themes that will grow excitement (and involve getting a bit dirty)!  Other activities will appeal to budding engineers, cooks, artists, and writers.  Games and conversation starters will engage the whole family, and activity sheets are included for younger siblings as well. Tanganyika Wildlife

Sign your kiddo up for Tanganyika spring break camps while school is out for a super wild and educational experience. We will be having camps the week of the 15th and 22nd.

Wichita Gymnastics

Spring Break Kids Day Out Kids play games, ride the zip line, wander through the maze, climb the rock wall, do the rings challenge & more! March 15 – March 19.

NEW this YEAR! We are offering private lessons only for Spring Break! All lessons are one on one and 2 days a week for the weeks of March 15-18 AND/OR March 22-25. Sign up today!


The Y’s SPRING BREAK CLUB, offered March 15-26 Monday-Friday, lets parents keep their schedules and gives kids fun time to spend with friends. Certified child care staff members oversee educational, entertaining and inclusive activities. A healthy breakfast and afternoon snack are provided (kids must bring lunch daily).

Wichita Art Museum

Need a family field trip? Come see us during Spring Break Week! WAM welcomes youth for just $1 admission, including high school and college students with ID. Free admission for kids under 5. Swing by and explore what’s in the galleries, including “African American Art in the 20th Century,” a traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
