If we learned anything from our Birthday Bash event last Friday, it’s that Wichita is full of moms (and mom-friendly businesses) who L-O-V-E to have a good time! On Thursday, February 25th, nearly 200 moms and over 20 sponsors gathered together to help us celebrate. And what a night we had!
The Venue
Thank you to the historic Mid-America All-Indian Center and staff for graciously hosting our party. The ambiance of the museum was lively and bright – a perfect setting for our unforgettable evening.

We had a blast getting to know the fun (and fit) team at Genesis, learning about their new All American Training program, spinning for raffle prizes, and getting the moms moving with a Zumba party kickoff – one of the highlights of the night! Thanks, Devin!
We’ve also loved working with Martin Pringle’s Adoption and Surrogacy Team and value their years of experience representing and helping local families. It was so great having some of their team (also Wichita moms themselves) mingle and hand out the cutest mom swag!

EATS + SWEETS + DRINKS
Our amazing food and beverage sponsors did not disappoint! We enjoyed savories, including a veggie bar from Jason’s Deli, chips, queso, and chicken picado from Carlos O’Kelly’s, ham and turkey sandwiches from Mr. Goodcents, and pizza from Papa Murphy’s .
We had so many dessert options! From an assortment of mini cupcakes (hello, red velvet) from September Moon Cupcakery, to ice cream cake and cake pops from Baskin Robbins, and the almost-too-beautiful-to-eat birthday cake from Sugarlips Cakery! (The birthday song and confetti may or may not have been involved).
And, of course, it wouldn’t have been a party without signature drinks! Moms sampled craft beer from Hopping Gnome, cotton candy martinis from Spun, frozen strawberry daiquiris and “mocktail” pina coladas from Maggie’s Scotch and Soda, and spiked lemonade and wine from XClusive Events (complete with a photo of the bar tender’s baby so she could be there with her in spirit. How cute is that?)
ENTERTAINMENT + SHOPPING + PAMPERING
Our sponsors really outdid themselves to make this evening all about the moms! Black Tie Celebrations did an incredible job setting the tone of the evening with music, a photo booth, and the hashtag printing station. We can’t say enough good things about Sean and his crew!
We loved all of the booth sponsors, and so did our moms, because each table had a steady stream of visitors all night long! European Wax Center did wax demonstrations, Everyday Beaut offered services like brow shaping, Beauty Dot gave moms much-deserved neck massages, Salon Brands flexed their hair styling muscles and had incredible swag for guests, Love of Character showed off the cutest party supply goods and packed every swag bag with a custom hair tie, Pink Saloon offered mom-favorite shopping (ahem S’well bottles and Alex & Ani bracelets), Fringe Salon offered styling tips and tricks for moms, and Stella and Dot showcased their new spring line and offered an incredible giveaway!
GIVEAWAYS + SWAG
Moms were welcomed at the door (which had a long line of ladies ready to bust in) by our greeting team and were gifted with swag bags full of goodies upon entering the party. Guests were able to check their coats, thanks to In the Bag Cleaners, and every attendee had the opportunity to win FABULOUS prizes. Each guest received a giveaway ticket at check-in and was able to earn more by bringing canned goods for the Kansas Food Bank in partnership with American Heart Association. Thank you to everyone who brought a healthy pantry item!
We had over 20 moms leave with something from our giveaway table!
