Day at Kenwood Cove in Salina, KS
Looking to do one more quick day trip before summer ends? Look no further! Kenwood Cove Water Park in Salina, KS is Salina’s city pool and only 1hr and 15min north of Wichita. This quick day trip will not disappoint and will end your summer on a high note!
Why Kenwood Cove? It has so much to offer for such a small price. It is $7 for adults and $5 for kids ages 3-17. Kenwood cove has multiple water slides (5 slides for those over 48 inches), a play area and slide for the younger kids, a lazy River, a zero entry space, wave pool, rock climbing wall, diving board, and deep end swimming space. So much to do for every age and every swimming level.
A few tips and tricks to make it the best experience- bring your own lock to lock up your wallet, keys, and other valuables. They have small square lockers available on a first come first serve bases. You’ll also want to bring plenty of sunscreen, your own towels, water, and a change of clothes for the ride back home. They do have a concession stand with snack food, sweet treats, and a variety of drinks. They accept cash and card.
Hours of Operation:
Monday – Saturday, 12:30-7pm and Sunday, 12:30-6pm. They will close for the season on Aug 16th (also closed Aug 9-13th)
