With the kids home indefinitely at the moment, anyone else feel like they are doing dishes 26 hours a day?! My least favorite part of every day is lunch. What on EARTH are we going to eat today – because I simply can’t handle PBJ one. more. time.
So the kids and I sat down and came up with themes for each day of the week and created our own daily menu. Lunches have suddenly been a breeze! They know that they have to choose from the theme of day – which has eliminated a million lunch questions during our morning routine!
I also created a menu that we printed out, laminated, and stuck on the fridge. The kids use dry erase markers to circle their lunch choice for each day. They even look forward to helping me prep and serve!
