Holiday Tables: Girls’ Night Out

Thursday, November 6, 6:00pm
Mark Arts, 1307 N. Rock Road

Grab your sequins and girlfriends to kick off Holiday Tables weekend. Sip wine, browse unique jewelry and clothing from local vendors, and savor heavy hors d’oeuvres as you browse the Holiday Tables exhibit – a celebration full of unique tablescapes to help inspire your holiday gatherings! Ages 21 and up.

Christmas with the Rat Pack

Dec. 4, 7:30pm
Century II, 225 W. Douglas

Experience Frank, Sammy, and Dean – the icons of crooning, cocktails, and cool. You’re invited to the Merriest Celebration of THE RAT PACK that takes you inside 1960’s Las Vegas for an evening of glitz and glamour. Starring the acclaimed Brian Duprey as Frank Sinatra, Joe Scalissi as Dean Martin, and Kenny Jones as Sammy Davis, Jr. Side-by-side with a swingin’ band, they will dazzle you with all their greatest hits including – My Way, Mr. Bojangles, New York, New York, That’s Amore, Fly Me To The Moon and seasonal classics such as Let It Snow, Jingle Bells, and of course, White Christmas. Plus, a special performance by Jami Duprey as Marilyn Monroe. Showered with awards and recognition for his live and recorded performances, Brian Duprey had his big break on FOX TV’s “Performing As,” where he won top prize by portraying his idol, Frank Sinatra. Brian has been featured on CSI Las Vegas, The History Channel, NBA All Star Jam, and the hit movie Get Him To The Greek. Produced by Brian Duprey, Christmas with The Rat Pack is the perfect romantic evening or family celebration that’s just in time for the holiday season.

Christmas Candlelight Concert

Dec. 5 and 6, 7:30pm, 7 at 2pm
Friends University at Sebits Auditorium, 2100 W. University

Christmas Candlelight will not only feature the Singing Quakers and Concert Choir but also band, jazz, dance and art.

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation

Friday, December 12, 7:00pm
Mary Jane Teall Theater, 225 W. Douglas

Join KFDI, Classic Rock 104.5, and T95 for our annual holiday screening of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Since the Orpheum is closed for restoration, this year’s event takes place at Century II Mary Jane Teall Theater. The party starts at 5:30 p.m. with food specials, themed drinks, games, and prizes. Costumes encouraged! It’s Christmas and the Griswold family is preparing for a seasonal celebration, but things never run smoothly for Clark, his wife Ellen, and their two kids. Clark’s continual bad luck is worsened by his obnoxious family guests, but he manages to keep going on knowing that his holiday bonus is due soon. Chevy Chase returns in this blockbuster comedy as Clark Griswold, America’s best-intentioned walking disaster area, who is determined to create a fun-filled, old-fashioned Christmas. Deck the halls with laughter at the escapades of the Griswold family.
