The following performances include the most recent updated information regarding Covid-19 plans for the 2020 season. Some are doing virtual concerts or in person with stipulations, while others have chosen to cancel or have not yet announced detailed plans.

Christmas Candlelight Concert

Friday, December 4 @ 7:30pm – A Facebook Premiere Event
Music through the ages will be presented by the Friends University choral ensembles: Singing Quakers, Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Jazz Vocal Ensemble and the majesty of the combined ensembles (150 voices). Herald in the Christmas season with traditional audience carols and holiday favorites including “O Holy Night.” Welcoming our guests as they arrive will be the Friends University Flute Choir, providing festive music in the art gallery.

Short & Suite Nutcracker

Friday, December 4-6 @ Wichita Center for Performing Arts
Looking for a holiday tradition that is short, but very sweet? Midwest Dance Mechanix is proud to offer the Wichita community a Nutcracker experience that children of all ages can enjoy! Get swept away in the magic, beauty and grace of this holiday tradition that is perfect for your family.

The Nutcracker by Metropolitan Ballet, Inc

December 19 & 20 @ Century II Concert Hall
Experience the magic of the holidays in this family-friendly, classical ballet. Featuring local & regional dancers, The Nutcracker is a holiday tradition for young and old.

The Runaway Snowman : Once Upon a Time Series by WCTDC

December 4 & 5 @ Century II’s Mary Jane Teall Theatre
Robin’s snowman, Happy, can talk! He soon wins a local contest and becomes the town celebrity. The only problem is a local con man who takes all the fun out of being a star. So Happy must come up with a plan to save the day for Robin. 

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever : Once Upon a Time Series by WCTDC

December 11 & 12 @ Century II’s Mary Jane Teall Theatre
This delightful comedy is adapted from the best-selling children’s book, and has become a holiday staple for kids of all ages! Don’t miss the mayhem in this hilarious holiday show!
