Christmas Tree Lighting in Wichita 2021

There is nothing like a traditional tree lighting to kick off the holiday season. Find out where to go below!

Bradley Fair Tree Lighting

November 21st, 5 PM
Bradley Fair Plaza (by the fountain)

No cost, open to the public, and benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities Wichita. Enjoy fun events all day long including free horse drawn carriage rides, live entertainment on the plaza, photos with Santa, glow stick fun, and hot cocoa and treats! 

City of Derby Tree Lighting

November 30th, 6 PM
Madison Avenue Central Park, 512 E Madison Ave., Derby

Enjoy free kettle corn and cookies, as well as food trucks and holiday music! Santa will not be attending this year. Free and open to the public.

Goddard Christmas Tree Lighting

December 4th, 4 PM
Goddard Main Street and Linear Park

Activities include a tree lighting, lighted parade, photos with Santa, carriage rides, carolers, vendors, and more! The Parade of Lights will begin at 6 PM on Main Street – There is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is required. 

El Dorado Tree Lighting & Old Fashioned Christmas Parade

December 4th, 5:30 PM in front of the court house
Main Street in El Dorado

No cost and open to the public. In downtown square. Enjoy a lighted parade, Candy Cane Lane, and Boomtown at Christmas Historic Reenactment. 

Hope Community Church Tree Lighting

December 5th, 5:00 PM 
1831 E 21st St, Andover

There will be hot cocoa and carols sung. All are welcome, this is a free event.

Hometown Christmas in Andover

December 9th, 5:30 PM
Andover Central Park

Activities will take place in the park, City Hall, The Lodge, and Andover Public Library. The evening begins with a tree lighting and the arrival of Santa, but also includes a chili cook-off, children’s activities in the library, live music and pictures with Santa in City Hall, and s’mores and horse drawn wagon rides outdoors. There will also be a light show coordinated to music at the amphitheater. Attendees are encouraged to donate toys, canned goods, and cash to benefit the local Sharing and Caring 501c3 program and the Andover Food Bank.
