The Wichita Wind Surge is hosting their second Tumba Vacas night for the 2022 season! Bring your friends and families to Riverfront Stadium on June 26 as they pay a tribute the different roots and traditions in the Hispanic and Latinx community.

What is Tumba Vacas Night?
From the Arkansas River to the Chisholm Trail, the Surge strives to provide the Wichita community with a fun night to learn about different cultures in Wichita.
Tumba Vacas night has been the largest turnout of the season! It is a great opportunity to expose your family to a new culture. With live dancers, mariachi bands and Hispanic themed food and beverages, Tumba Vacas night is an unforgettable night full of fun for everyone!

Our Concessions Get A Latinx Twist!
In addition to our tasty regular game menu, we will have themed foods such as, churros, hard tacos, Elote, Paps Locas, Fruitas Locas and so much more! All of our regualar drinks will still be up on the menu but our special will be the Tumba Vacas Margarita. Make sure you also try out our limited time drinks including Clamato, Agua Frescas, and more!
Join the Emprise Pavilion for a fiesta! In the Pavilion, fans will receive upgraded seating, located above the team store. Plus have a night to remember with friends and family while getting the experience to listen to an incredible Hispanic DJ all while having an open buffet and bar.
Our Uniforms Do, Too!
The Wind Surge also honors the official sport known as La Charreria, with vibrant pink and green. The colors that we brand Tumba Vacas with represent the traditional charro as outfits. The upside-down cow connections each player to tap into the mindset and ideologies of the Charros, using baseball as the vessel. The vibrant flowers remind us of the single seed our ancestors planted through their hard work and dedication to build the families and traditions we have today. You don’t want to miss out on seeing our players decked out for the Tumba Vacas game.
Make sure to come to the game early where families can play catch on the field before the game. Gates open at 12:00 p.m.

The Twins Double-A affiliate, The Wichita Wind Surge, made their organization debut in 2021. Playing in the Texas League, the Wind Surge went 69-51 in their inaugural season and made a trip to the League Championship.
The franchise was previously the Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins in the Pacific Coast League from 2009-2020 located in New Orleans.
