Wichita Moms Give Back: Cards for Heroes by April 30th

April 2020 — Join Wichita Mom in spreading joy through the #wegotthischallenge2020 by creating colorful artwork for a healthcare hero OR an aging resident living in a long-term care facility. Brighten someone’s day with United Way!

How To Participate *Deadline April 30th:

1) Choose a Category. Choose to make artwork for either a healthcare hero on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis OR an aging Wichita area citizen who might not be receiving visitors — OR both!

2) Create Your Masterpiece. Using your compassion and creativity, create a beautiful piece (or pieces) of artwork or a homemade greeting card or letter for someone from your chosen category. Be sure to include words of encouragement. Somewhere on your artwork, include the phrase “We Got This.” Please make as many pieces of art as you desire – we have many deserving recipients.

3) Share Your Work. Take a photo of your art and post it to social media using the hashtag #wegotthischallenge2020 and tag @wichitamom and @unitedwayplains. (This step is optional.)

Share Your Artwork HERE!

4) Mail Your Artwork. Mail your artwork to: United Way of the Plains, attn: Kristin Bogner, 245 N Water, Wichita, KS 67212, by April 30. United Way of the Plains will deliver your artwork to hospitals and long-term care facilities to brighten the days of area citizens.
