For 40 years, Prairie Pines has been Wichita’s destination for family fun and holiday traditions. Located at 4055 N. Tyler Road in Maize, KS, Prairie Pines is a Christmas Tree Farm where families can choose-and-cut or select pre-cut Christmas trees.

Prairie Pines SantaDuring the holidays, their Christmas Tree Farm turns into an “Old Fashioned Christmas” with hot chocolate and cookies, Santa Claus with a beautiful backdrop of flocked trees and an old fashioned sleigh, horse-drawn hay rack rides, and family “train” rides.

Don’t forget the Old Barn Christmas Shop. Every year the rustic log cabin is turned into a festive, beautiful old fashioned Christmas wonderland. There are trees with thousands of ornaments for purchase, and you can have a custom wreath decorated while you shop.
