2023 Wild Lights at Sedgwick County Zoo

WICHITA, KS – The Sedgwick County Zoo is excited to announce the return of Wichita’s most unique fall event – Wild Lights!

Wild Lights at Sedgwick County Zoo | 2023

Wild Lights will run from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday through Sundays, from Oct. 11 – Dec. 17.

Lanterns are all new this year, and bigger than ever! Larger-than-life Asian Lantern sculptures will illuminate the Zoo as guests experience dazzling scenes of glowing wildlife, beautiful archways, and magical interactive displays.

Follow the White Rabbit to a land of wonder as larger-than-life Asian lantern sculptures illuminate the Zoo! Guests will be dazzled by scenes from beloved classic, Alice in Wonderland, as well as traditional Asian works of art.

On December 16 and 17 from 6-9 p.m., guests will not only be able to experience the magic of Wild Lights, but they’ll also be able to visit Santa and two very popular “winter princess sisters.” Saturday evening will also feature carolers throughout the Zoo. Hot chocolate and other delicious treats will be on hand as well.

Tickets for this dazzling event start at $15 and are on sale now at SCZ.org.

Wild Lights back and better than ever, and our team loved the Alice in Wonderland Theme. Each lantern feature has a description, so you can follow the storyline as you view the beautiful lights!
